Irwin clamps are my favourites to use.Really easy to fit and they hold rock solid. This is a useful Irwin clamp accessory, that enables you to clamp a 90' corner with one clamp.In use, it works well. Just swap the pads on the clamp, with the 2 supplied pieces of the corner clamp. The pieces just pull/push off and on.I used them to re-glue some drawers and they held firm and true.Note: you can only use this with the medium and heavy duty clamps.It will not fit the mini clamps.RecommendedI hope you found this review helpful.

These are fab! I needed to screw some frames together whilst working on my own. I needed to make sure the frames were straight and square before fixing, so I bought these to help me, along with buying some Irwin quick clamps too. These made the job really easy. It was like having a second pair of hands. I highly recommend these Irwin products!

Given that I already own five Irwin Quick Grip clamps, I bought one of these to evaluate for clamping small four CNC routed chipboard panels to make a replica 1960s bookshelf loudspeaker cabinet (for a home build Brian May Deacy amplifier if you're interested).I tested the jaws for squareness with a piece of precision ground flat stock steel and found that they are slightly less than 90 degrees. I wondered whether this is a deliberate design feature to allow the jaws to give slightly to spread and maintain a tight grip on the workpiece but the plastic is very rigid so I can't comment further on this issue.However, as I hope you can see from the pictures attached to this review, I was able to quickly assemble and align the mitred joints precisely on these test panels. Therefore, I am 100% satisfied with the product and will go ahead and order three more to make a set of four. I am sure that they will be useful for future DIY woodworking projects and domestic repairs, e.g. to furniture.The pieces are reasonably easy to attach to the Irwin Quick Grip clamp but the jaws were a very tight fit and needed persuasion from leaning on and a rubber mallet.This item was cheaper (£8.91) than ScrewFix (£11.99) at the time of buying (25 January 2023).

I just bought one of these to test the fit before I bought a full set of 4. Here's the problem: for the heavy duty clamps, the corner accessory part fits only the old style XP with the metal cover plate. It does NOT fit the newer style XP that has the tilting heads as these have much thicker plastic. As far as I know, the older style XP were discontinued years ago. That means this accessory is not going to fit most peoples heavy duty clamps esp. if you have purchased them in the last couple of years or so. A bit disappointing to be honest as I only have 2 of the old style XP, the rest are all the newer ones.

They work fine but cannot comment on there sturdiness as only bought for a specific purpose.
