TICKS ALL THE BOXES
Bought to replace a cheap small microwave that was leaving rings of uncooked area when doing poppadoms. I love the fact that on reduced power it actually runs continually. Previous units have blasted everything at full power reducing the "power on" periods as you set for lower heat. Also the buttons are very straight forward and offer all the options you need. Much prefer these buttons to touch panels with poor marking.

Best microwave I have ever used
This Panasonic microwave is the best microwave I’ve ever used. It reheats food evenly and really fast at max power without drying it out and I’ve never had cold spots like on some other microwaves. I’ve also never liked defrosting stuff in the microwave because it would always end up half frozen half cooked, but the chaos defrost of this one is amazing, defrosts very evenly. The power is easily adjusted and because it’s an inverter it doesn’t switch the heat on and off but actually reduces it. Overall an amazing appliance.

Lightweight (a consideration), can see the food cooking, and it cooks quicker during a shorter time
Our old Bosch microwave had been burning food- literally lighting it on fire--which is impressive given the food was still cold in parts after that... Fed up with it and then thinking it might actually burn our house down, we decided to try a different brand. Also, the Bosch beeped beyond what was humanly acceptable when it finished, which incidentally it kept sounding like it was cooking even after the time was up...faulty? Part of the design? No idea but enough was enough.I've always had good experience with Sharp microwaves but they are just so darn ugly, hence Panasonic was our next option. This model looked pretty sleek. I liked that it has a cleaning option and am looking forward to trying it to see if it is a gimmick or not.So the positives about this microwave:Even cooking. I mean the Bosch is laughable by comparison. It cooks faster in a short amount of time.Stylish. It's grey on the inside, I really like this. I like the finish of it overall, but the only part that's stainless steel is the door and the operations panel. Perhaps a good thing since stainless can be difficult to clean. The not so positives:Yes it's lightweight, so much so the thing slides when you press the button. Not a problem if you have a flat wall, but it's a problem if you don't, like ours; so a piece of rubber/silicon will stop it.The inner roof isn't flat. So whether that becomes a pain to clean remains to be seen, depends how good self clean feature is.We've gotten used to its 3 step process that is: click the wattage buttons, turn the knob and hit start but some will prefer less steps to completion.I had hoped for a flatbed but just couldn't hit add to cart on the ugly Sharp microwave; shallow I know.So I'm not sure I'm telling you anything new, but we like it and what's more, it doesn't beep more than 5 beeps at the end of cooking; that alone is worth it.

Described incorrectly not Stainless steel inside
The interior is not stainless steel , the description says interior material ss but once received the owners manual describes the interior as a durable zinc coated steel with a tough coating, i have had many microwaves and im fed up with rusty interiors , so i have been searching for only stainless steel interior models, Haden have provided some. I contacted your customer service and they said they weren't responsible for item descriptions on Amazon. Panasonic is this not your page selling your own products thus making you responsible for your listing ??
