Soft cover bit of a disadvantage as it got a bit bent been delivered through letterbox.Good book for artist who works with pastels.As it was a Christmas present I'm awaiting further comments from them to whether it is a good book ,I personally think it's very good with lots pictures .A good present.

Nice book to have and helps as I am learning how to use soft pastels.

Perfect for me

I purchased this as a birthday present for my mother.It’s a decent book printed onto high quality, glossy paper. A decent length and full of colour photos explaining the different techniques etc.Easy to follow format for anyone from complete beginner to more advanced artists. I think this will be a useful book.Bottom line - as a layman I found this book easy to understand with a clearly defined layout to help artists of all skill sets.I’d buy it again.

Great reference book to keep going back to if you want to learn about pastels.
