Mighty heavy when filled
I filled it with cat litter. It works really well but it is heavy. I didn’t give it five as it is very difficult to carry when carrying a gun and other requisites to the range. It need a good carrying handle as the one fitted is too small and difficult to get fingers underneath when the bag is filled.

I wondered what to fill with plastic ball beads from hobby craft or something else... settled on cheap long grain rice 5kg for both bags 4 1/2 kilo (4331g) on big bag it will take more but not much more... but less is fine for moulding. 927g for small bag Not to heavy to put in a back pack bag.

A very stable platform.
This combination is simple but very effective. The combo is well made and sturdy, it provides a great solid and stable platform for a rifle or a pistol. Also it is easy and relatively compact. Highly recommended!

Ich bin jetzt froh, dass ich nicht der Versuchung erlegen bin, ein Billigteil von irgend einem anderen Hersteller gekauft zu haben. Die Schiessauflage macht einen soliden, gut verarbeiteten Eindruck. Zu einer Langzeitbewährung kann ich natürlich noch nichts sagen, muss noch getestet werden. Zur Füllung habe ich ein grobkörniges weisses PET-Granulat (3 - 4 mm) verwendet, dem ich noch einen Teelöffel voll Talkumpulver zu gegeben habe um die Granulatreibung noch weiter zu vermindern. Dadurch bleibt die Füllung sehr beweglich und eine Anpassung der Waffenposition ist leicht möglich. Sand halte ich für ungeeignet, da Sand verdichtet und wieder umständlich aufgelockert werden muss, aus Undichtigkeiten rieseln kann und die Auflage unnötig schwer macht. Auch Reis würde ich nicht nehmen, da er Feuchtigkeit aufnimmt, aufquellen und verkleben kann. Aus jetziger Sicht kann ich diese Auflage absolut empfehlen
