If the single lock was mentioned in a prior review, I missed it, so I was expecting a dual lock. Close examination of the image shows it's just one, but it would have been nice to have that spelled out clearly, as many others are a pair.The mounting hardware these came with is dead weight and wasted space. I wound up not using one single piece of it because it couldn't be tightened properly. If I tightened like the original hardware, the latch wouldn't turn, it was stuck tight. If I loosened it to where the latch would turn, it would slowly back out the screw until I could remove it by hand. So I simply used the original Harley-Davidson mounting bolts (from the non-locking latches on the razor pak) and *ding* - perfect.
