Brabantia Smart Pegs, Yellow/Mint

These pegs are some of the best I have used. I trust the Brabantia brand to be fair and many of their items are going strong in my household after 10 years of use.These pegs are impressive and work very well. What is less impressive is that I failed to read the description properly and there are only 8 pegs in the pack. My fault. SO five stars for being a top quality peg though. There are of course some alternatives which perhaps offer better value without being too much of a lesser peg...

Good quality pegs but too pricey. I was surprised to receive only 8 pegs for this price.

I have lived in the UK for almost 8 years now. Why is this important to to my review - Well partially because I grew up in USA, so We always used a tumble dryer - so I never had the joy of using a laundry line - muchless pegs! Ok maybe that part isn't as important, but still - the point is that I have never used them, therefore had no bias one way or other as to which type of peg as better. In these past almost 8 years, I have become more familiar - and of all the ones I have bought: wood (traditional with hinge) not fun, not long lasting. Plastic with hinge even worse than wood as the plastic gets brittle and can break... These though!!! definitely more expensive, however if you haven't tried them they are simply amazing. I like that there are no metal hinges- no rusting or slipping apart. They seem to be a single piece, and the grip end is wonderful - has a tight and a normal grip. I've had these over a year now, and am getting more to replace the crap ones my Hubby got that are now beginning to break apart! they Also have a durable rubber grip that I am pretty sure will turn me into a super hero -(but I haven't figured out how yet). They definitely have increased my intelligence, and my vision seems to be improving, so all I can do is attribute these astonishing changes to these wonderful clips!

Was very dubious about these at first but now I just love them. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for decent pegs. Costly but well worth it.

Great pegs just couldn't afford as many as I need to gang out my washing. Bit expensive but excellent for pegging out bedclothes on my new drier which I love

You will not find any pegs that last longer than these. I only discovered them because I bought a Brabantia Washing Line a few years back and they sent me a freebie pack of their pegs (they planted a tree for me too at the time). While all my other previous pegs perished over time, these have remained strong and sturdy so I now ordered more to replace all the cheap ones that ended in the bin.

Pegs are great BUT pack size is only 8, not 12 as stated in description. I will e contacting the seller to complain and that makes a huge difference - makes these pegs even more expensive... Seller needs to change description as saw other reviewers mention this.

These are strong pegs with two sets of indentations for thin or thicker lines, or thin or thick washing. They are easy to put back together if your dog gets hold of them (like my Westie did) but no fiddly metal bits for him to swallow. I have just ordered some more. I just wish there were more in a pack and at a cheaper price would be nice
