Last Night In The Bittersweet

Another progression
I think the reviewer who says he is going to bin this needs to broaden his horizons a bit, or get back to his Ed Sheeran.Although it is a little experimental in parts you still get the melodic soul vibes we know and expect from Paulo.I can honestly say there isn't a bad track and anyone with musical taste should find things to love about this album.

Been waiting far too long for this but it was worth the wait. Please don’t make us wait as long for the next one!JC

So worth the wait!
I heard 2 tracks from Paolo's new album on the Jooles Holland show and was blown away, not just by the performance but by the songs too. So I had high hopes for the rest of the album. My hopes were realised, and more. I love this array of songs of different styles, all superbly played by Paolo's band and all showing off his stunning voice. If I had one gripe, it's the mastering of the CD. It's way too loud and compressed. It's unnecessary and diminishes the superb production of these songs. Paolo deserves better. All that said, buy this new album without reservation. It's superb.

This man improves every album.
Having listened endlessly to Paolo, he changes direction effortlessly, so many influences are apparent in this album.Top man, top job.

Dreadful
Music is all down to personal taste, but for me this is so disappointing. I have three of Paolo's earlier albums which I think are great. This one is so disjointed and trying way to hard. The music is more experimental than entertaining and is heading straight for the charity bag.
