Nice quality bosch cutout tool. Zips right through drywall feels good in the hand and cuts fast. I'm sure there's a lot more functionality for the tool as well. Weight is light. Easy to use.

Works like all Bosch tools — perfectly

Ich bin durch Zufall auf das Werkzeug gestoßen - und war mir am Anfang nicht sicher ob ich dafür wirklich Verwendung finde aber, jetzt weiß ich es besser - tu ich :) Der Preis lag bei mir knapp über 100 Euro ohne L-Boxx und damit ist es eher eines der günstigsten Bosch Professional Werkzeuge im 18v Akku System. Der Primäre nutzen von dem Gerät ist ausschnitte in Trockenbauwände zu machen. Wer häufig 4-Eckige ausschnitte machen muss wird dieses Werkzeug lieben. Ich habe das Werkzeug auch verwendet um beim Abbau der alten Trockenbauwände ausschnitte zu machen und "sollbruchstellen" vorzuschneiden damit die platten in gut tragbare Stücke zerbrechen. Ich würde es wieder kaufen. Zum schneiden von geraden Flächen lohnt sich das Teil nicht da es hier zu langsam ist - die macht man am besten weiterhin mit dem Cutter. Hinweis: Manchmal scheint es so als will das Gerät nicht angehen - dann einfach eine Sekunde warten und den Schalter nochmal kräftig und länger drücken. Das ist leider nicht so schön gelöst.

I love it, as a professional contractor tool. I just finished installing the drywall in a 1500 sq ft basement and I used this Bosch cutout tool, model GCU18V-30N to cut around 75 outlet metal boxes for switches, ceiling lights and receptacles. It was impressive, quick with great results and dust free. My previous tool was a RotoZip that I used for many years and in comparison, the main advantage this tool has is the vacuum hood for 1” dia hose attachment, it sucks 99% of the drywall dust, no mask required and is very efficient when working on ceilings. Also, is cordless, I was able to finish this job using a single 4Ah battery. The cut out tool comes with everything outlined in description, two 1/8” drywall bits, a 1/8” and 1/4” collets, belt clip attachment, small wrench for bit change out and the clear plastic vacuum hood attachment, nothing was missing or damaged and tool works perfect. Batteries and vacuum hose adaptor are not included. Overall, the tool is ergonomic, well balanced and good grip using both hands, is brushless has quick motor break stop, fairly light weight at 3 lbs. with the 4Ah 18V battery attached is easy to maneuver and guide it around the metal boxes to complete cutouts. The LED light is very useful and looks cool with its bluish colour. Its overall size fits perfect in my click and go Bosch L Boxx. As improvements, a hand adjustable strap may be useful and a lanyard or a build-in pocket on the tool for the wrench to prevent miss-placement. Thanks.
