When someone rings your doorbell, does it sound like World War III is starting at your house? Most people’s dogs go crazy when the doorbell rings and have a hard time controlling dogs in the situation when people arrive. Hang the bells on the door you use to take your dog out. You can also hang them on a hook next to the door a suitable hook. 2. Got this for my 4 month puppy as he bashes the catflap for everything he wants wee poo food so thought if I could get him to ring the bells for toilet time I wouldn't be getting up every five mins. He's bashed it a couple of times but its a work in progress
