Excellent brush
Wore the last one out! This brush was recommended by my dog groomer. Excellent product, so good I bought another one. The brush has a good grip and I noticed you could use it for shampooing also, which I have always left to my dog groomer. . The hard plastic bristles just slide through his coat and is very effective.

Effective and gentle brush
I use this to brush my Corgis, it is gentle enough for my puppy and my adult dog loves the massage she gets from the brush! The brush gets all the loose hairs out from the undercoat. The only downside is that some stray hairs are left on the dog (instead of being collected by the brush), but these are easily wiped off. One of my dogs has an oily coat so the oils transfer onto the brush, but it is easily washed with hot water. Overall, this is good for a gentle brush and getting loose hairs out.

Keep the vacuum cleaner close
I couldn't believe how much fur this removed. My dog has a very short coat and no matter what other comb/brush I tried it only removed a small amount. This baby just keeps on giving. Now I just brush and brush until he gets fed up, then brush some more. The floor looks like a mohair rug. I then vacuum it all up. This is well worth the money. My dog doesn't mind it either, unlike the other combs I've tried.

Great for top coat
I have a double coated dog and while I’ve found a great solution for getting out the loose fluffy undercoat in the Equigroomer, I was still looking for something that would grip the smoother coarser loose top coat hairs. My dog hated the feel of the pins of a slicker brush so I thought I would try this and it works a treat! While it doesn’t contain the hairs like a slicker brush, it does a great job of loosening them so you can grab them up and it has the added bonus of being able to use them on the bonier parts of the body like the lower legs without any discomfort (which is also great for loosening bits of dried mud and dirt after a walk). The rubber material does start to lose its grippiness after a while as it picks up the oils from the skin, so it needs a thorough wash in the sink every once in a while. It’s also great for getting shampoo to penetrate right down to the skin while bathing the dog. Oh and it’s made of rubber and looks like a toy so if you let your dog chew it, don’t be surprised if it ends up in bits 🤷🏼 it’s not designed for chewing, only brushing…

Not as good as expected
I bought this based on reviews but was a bit disappointed with it to be honest. It is ok, but just ok, and doesn't work nearly as well as a Furminator on my two labradors. It didn't remove nearly as much hair from them although they maybe enjoyed the slight massage action - i'll ask them and report back! :-DProbably wouldn't recommend but may depend on the dog and may be good for pups to get them used to regular grooming.

The best dog brush ever
I have two labradors and this brush is fantastic on their coats, it gets into the undercoat too. You can use it wet or dry. It’s soft and gentle, no pulling on the coats. It leaves my dogs with a lovely shiny coat. Fits nicely into your hand without being to big. I have brought quite a few of these brushes over the years

If you have a dog or cat you need this
These are fantastic brushes, if you have a dog or cat then you really need one of these. My little chihuahua x Yorkie wasn’t meant to shed but does, all over. She normally hates being brushed so I was resigned to extra hoovering and clothes brushing until I tried this. She will happily stand for ages while I brush her and that’s just as well because the hair just keeps on coming out. I’m constantly surprised she’s not bald at the end of a session. The brush doesn’t collect most of the hair, so be sure to try this outside unless you want your house to be super hairy. I also make sure the wind is blowing the hairs away from me and not onto me - it really does take out that much dead hair. The soft rubber cones (can’t really call them bristles) seem to give my dog a massage and she’s always happy and relaxed at the end of a session. The difference in her coat is immediately noticeable as she feels softer and looks shinier. The only negative is that the cones do get a bit stained and don’t clean up particularly well. But compared to the positives this is a really picky little negative. I’m now getting this as a gift for friends and families with pets. Very happy to recommend.
