Silverline 993057 Stearated Aluminium Oxide Roll 5m 400 Grit

Working on my boat demands copious amounts of tough sandpaper. This is by far the best sandpaper...long lasting, stays sharp, takes crumpling and folding to reach odd places.I really wish Silverline would make more grades readily available.

This abrasive paper works well and has a nice sharp initial cutting action, which is unusual for cheap abrasive paper. It does seems to wear out faster than the more expensive brands, but for the price it is still great value. I actually prefer that instead of using a worn out piece of expensive paper as it cost so much you want to get your moneys worth and end up wasting time and effort using a worn out grit.The backing paper isn't very flexible and is quite thin, so bending the paper around acute angled sanding blocks isn't possible. The most you will get is 90o and then it starts to crack. So ideal for bending around a flat sanding block, but not much else. For me this isn't an issue, but thought it was worth mentioning.

Worked as required fairly durable no complaints with this product.

Use this Stearated Aluminium Oxide paper to prepare furniture for refinishing.Cuts quickly and lasts ages. Doesn't blind as quickly as standard paper.My new prefered paper and have also bought the 240 and 400 grit.Great stuff.

Good quality, decent amount and a good price.Doesn't clog that much, and if it does clog with some softer material just give it a scrub with a wire brush and you're good to go again.

This is alright, I found it to clog pretty easily, but it does give a good finish and the price to quantity is excellent.I found it took folding and so forth fine, so the paper's resilient enough assuming you're not hitting too many sharp corners, which it will get hung up on very fast.It's still good value, but has some drawbacks - remember the price and slice off another sheet instead of struggling and you'll be fine.

I've only used it to smooth down a couple of broom handles so far but it seems to be of good quality. It seems fairly long lasting (but I was sanding pine, so... you know) and the price for a 5m roll is fantastic.

Got this sandpaper while it was on offer. I use it for sanding between coats of gloss paint and it's just the right grit for that job. I took off one star because it seems to clog up a bit more quickly than my previous (much more expensive) sandpaper.

Muy cómodo de manejar y cortar. Si se está acostumbrado a otra marca o formato de papel de lija, conviene probarlo antes de su uso definitivo. Puede equivaler a un grano 320 de otras lijas para madera
