Great little clock
We bought this clock to replace the GroClock as our daughters (4 & 6) had started to get up if there was only one star left on the countdown and it has been a hit. The girls can easily see if it is time to get up or stay in bed but haven't worked out how long until it is time to get up so if they wake they go back to sleep. We haven't tried the sound yet as it is the holidays and I am happy if they want a lie-in. The only thing that could be improved (as others have said) is that if you set the alarm for 7am and you put your children to bed before 7pm the pictures change as it is not worked in a 24hour format.

A great clock despite the small problem
Great idea, my son had been waking early and shouting out or getting up. Had this clock for 6 months and has solved the problem. The only problem we found is that occasionally the alarm goes off unexpectedly. For example it could be set for 7.00. we activate the alarm when he goes to bed at 7.30 and it's gone off at 7.45pm! It doesn't always happen and we have got round it by not switching the alarm on until we've gone to bed later in the evening. It has the option of only having the sun come up with no alarm sound (which we do on a weekend) or having an alarm sound as well (which we use on school days). It also has a digital clock display but this operates separately to the analogue clock which also sets the alarm.

Outstanding Alarm clock
I love this clock. It is perfect for my little one who is learning to sleep on his own in his room. The sleeping boy light helps him see whether it is time to wake up. He absolutely loves it and if he wakes up at night he will check if the boys is sleeping or awake and decides to get out of the bed. It is also a learning clock so when my son learns to tell the time, it will be most useful.I just can,t fault this clock. It is just the kind of thing I was looking for.Added advantage is that it comes in a U.K. Plug. I have seen other reviewers complain about European plug, but my one came with UK plug.I also ordered the condition-new like which is sold from Amazon warehouse and I was pleasently surprised that it was perfectly new. No damage to packaging or items.I am really pleased as I paid around £24 was got this new alarm clock which has been perfect to get my little one to sleep on his own.

Has helped set a 'morning' boundary for years
We've found this ideal for our kids since they were two - we recently purchased a replacement for our seven year old since the previous one was damaged by a lightning strike. Nice clear classic clock dial, and we use the visual alarm every morning to let the kids know when it is (and more importantly, isn't) time to get up. Now they're older they can also use the clock face to see how long they still have to wait. In the dark, only the visual asleep/awake indicator is visible, not the clock face, which is only illuminated for a short while after you press the button on the top. This is fine if it's on a bedside table, but less convenient if it's out of reach. It does use batteries fairly heavily so we always use the mains power adaptor (supplied).

First one faulty; second working as it should.
You'll find some very good and some very bad reviews for this product here. Our experience might explain why. The first clock they sent us was poor. If we set it for 8am it could ring anytime from 15 minutes before that to 15 minutes after; the snooze function didn't always work; and - worst of all - it would sometimes ring spontaneously, hours away from the time for which it was set to ring.We unfortunately only got around to looking into returning it a few days after the period during which Amazon allow returns expired. However, we discovered that the manufacturer's headquarters are just down the road from us here in Switzerland. After some to-ing and fro-ing on email they agreed to send us a new clock. We were sceptical, as we presumed it was just a poor quality product. HOWEVER, the new one is good. It's easy to set it accurately (or at least as accurately as any analogue alarm clock), the snooze works every time, and it only rings at the time for which it's been set.I'm still not giving it more than three stars, as they clearly have some manufacturing problems, judging by our experience and some of the other reviews here. But if you get a product that's functioning as it should, then you'll probably be happy. Our sons will hopefully be using theirs for many years to come.

Alarm goes off at random times!
Bought this alarm clock for our 3 year old but had to stop using in in the 1st couple of months- you can only set the alarm with the analogue clock, which with this clock is not very precise, and even then the alarm just goes off at random times in the middle of the night! Worse than useless, and very expensive for the cheap plastic it is made from.

Works well for us
We haven't experienced any of the problems other reviewers have mentioned. I bought this because it has both digital and analogue and the light to tell my son when he was allowed to get up and come into us. I didn't want to buy one of the simple sleep trainers as that seemed a waste of money when I would need to buy a clock later anyway. My son only gets up when his clock says it is morning and is already trying to tell the time. I haven't used the alarm (in my experience few parents of pre-school or infant school children need an alarm to wake their children up in the morning!)

Disappointed but still like it overall.
I wanted to love this product and I still do in my heart of hearts but in reality it’s been kind of frustrating. It comes with a plug for the electrical outlet but it’s only for those who live in Europe. For about a year and a half we use this using the battery option. This was not very useful because it lost time and the night light would barely glow.We finally decided to get an outlet converter and are happy right now the light shines very bright. I know that it was because the batteries were dying but it’s just one of the nuisances when using batteries for products… You have to swap them out and keep your eye on them pretty regularly.I also don’t love that the back buttons are not very friendly for children to use. Luckily my child listens very well to instructions and when we tell her not to do something she typically listens but that’s not the case for all children especially those with Neurodivergencies or who are younger (mine was 4 when she got it)I absolutely love had has a daytime night time function to show when it’s time to get up and when it’s time to be in bed with a little child on the screen. I also love that it has both analogue and digital modes to tell time. That was really important to me to provide opportunities for time literacy and cultivating the skills to navigate both digital and analogue time telling devices. I also really like that the hands on the analogue clock match the colour of the numbers this is really key for helping children learn to tell time and matchup which her and coordinates with which lines on the clock I do wish they had the minute by minute numbers on the clock to help children who are not yet advanced to counting in fives [i.e. 5, 10, 15,]. Overall I’m still very happy with it but just quite a few things did frustrate me and still do. Unfortunately it’s the best option I found so far that has a daytime nighttime feature, the analogue and digital display, a nightlight feature [this is activated when you push the wide round white button on the top of the device]. And an alarm clock noise if you desire to turn it on [we don’t currently but might in the future]

Très contente
Conforme à la description. Je n'ai pas voulu le mettre sur secteur. Avec de bonnes piles, elles tiennent facilement 6 mois.

Simple and effective
This alarm clock is perfect for our kiddo. Straightforward to use, and no unnecessary bells and whistles. The alarm sounds are good, and the silent alarm that only changes the kid from asleep to awake is exactly what we want for our kiddo. She exclaims, “My kid. Awake. Time to get up.”
