Tramontina Churrasco Set of 2 Heavy Duty Jumbo Steak Forks Brown Wooden Handles

I’ve got the matching knives and these forks are brilliant. It makes eating beef and pork a delight. I’ll try venison at a later date.

The "Tramontina Churrasco Set of 2 Heavy Duty Jumbo Steak Forks Brown Wooden Handles" are the natural companions to the same brand's Jumbo Steak Knives. They share similar 'polywood' handles although lacking the finger ridges of the knife handles.Lighter in weight and physically smaller than the knives which have long, extra-wide blades and very chunky handles. The prongs are extra-long and very suited to the thicker cuts of meat favoured in Brazil where these are made, they may have wider use on the dining table. The forks are well-balanced and are also available alone as a six pack and also as 12-piece sets of the knives and forks.They are fairly expensive when compared with some of the oriental-made alternatives but these appear to use a better grade of steel and they are highly polished when most alternatives are not. Several sets of inexpensive cutlery have been discarded as pitting and rusting of their low quality metal sets in far too quickly even when the implements are thoroughly dried; humidity may be responsible. These should last for many years.

I had been looking for good steak knives for a while, and after reading the reviews, which were mostly good, I took a chance on these. Glad I did as these knives are brilliant, very sharp. I like tomatoes very thin on a sandwich, and these slice them the way I like it. I am really pleased with them.

These forks were the perfect team to go with the steak knives, they are a bit bigger than normal forks but that is the same as the knives, very good.

Really strong and sturdy forks but not heavy, the wooden handle has a very nice smooth finish and a lovely colour. Had a good look around and these were the cheapest out there for the quality. Would recommend

They are expensive, and in comparison with the knives look small. Would have liked a bit heavier and longer.
