Commando+ Bluetooth Speaker IP65 Wireless Waterproof Speaker with 6600mAh Power Bank and 16 Hours+ Battery Life

Best sounding Bluetooth speaker this one. Plenty loud for work and big rooms at home. Ive had others but non live up to this. Bass is VERY tight and powerful. Zero distortion. crisp livley highs. Mid range is smooth and never sounds boxy. Always sounds rich with a wide stereo image. It just sounds impressive no matter what you throw at it. Battery lasts what seems like forever. I get 2 full 10 hour days at work. Its heavy. Really solid build. If I had to say anything negative then it would be that it doesn't come with a charging plug and believe me its fussy about which plug. Some phone chargers don't have the amps to charge it. It will just look like its charging forever and it won't charge a single bit. Samsung rapid chargers work. And ac adapters with USB end on them works. Cheap USB charger plugs don't. That's my only gripe. Bluetooth reception Isent as long as some others but its no big deal.

I had high hopes for the Commando+. Having used SHARKK Bluetooth speakers before, I had confidence that this item would be as good or better than their previous offerings. Unfortunately, the speaker barely maintains charge for more than a few hours, and the audio quality includes a buzzing sound or hissing sound at higher volumes. (And by 'higher volumes' I mean anything louder than 'quiet'.)I originally bought this item back in November as a christmas present for my girlfriend who currently lives abroad, to replace her previous SHARKK boombox bluetooth speaker which had stopped powering on after a couple of years of regular use. The Commando+ seems solid and well built, but its not lived up to the sound and battery life claims, at least in this example. She has managed to get 9, 7 and now 2 hours before the battery runs out. This is after it has been charged for long periods of time. There also appears to be problems with sound quality with noticeable static interference at higher volumes. The buttons are also not very responsive, requiring several presses before they work sometimes. It may be that this particular one is a lemon, but I've yet to hear anything back from SHARKK after contacting them for a solution. My concern now is that I am ending my return window and I have to get the item shipped back from abroad if I want to get a full refund, so I might be stuck now with a defective speaker that wasn't exactly cheap to begin with!As it stands, the product gets 1/5 stars and SHARKK has lost my respect. As a former believer in their products, I'm going to do a complete reverse on my previous stance and alert friends to be a bit more wary of the quality of the products and customer service.Buyer beware; you might get a product that works, or you might get a lemon, and you might not hear back from SHARKK very promptly if you run into any difficulties. For the amount they charge for this item, you might be better off looking at a more established brand! Fingers crossed I can get the item returned in time for a full refund.EDIT: Several days later and still no response to my messages to SHARKK. Pretty shocking customer service. Seems they are happy to take your money and keep quiet when you run into difficulties with their products. Avoid at all costs.

I have not yet been able to get the bluetooth to work... but hoping my son will help with this when he next visits me.Used the Plug In connector on my laptop for UTube - & my playlist of mainly Underground music played well - neighbours loved it too!

I bought myself one of these last summer and it's been with me everywhere since then, from festivals for "tent parties" (and charging my phone!) to building sites so I can dance while I work. I was very pleased with its sound and functionality... until it just stopped working last month :-(I raised a ticket with Sharkk and they responded quickly, troubleshooting the speaker before deciding it was faulty and sending me a replacement with no quibbles. I think the speaker is great but the customer service when something went wrong really impressed me. Highly recommended.

I bought this product after being wowed by Sharkk's smaller '2o' bluetooth speaker.My previous '2o' speaker had everything I desired; Durability, Ruggedness, Extremely High-Quality audio and great battery performance. When the '2o' speaker arrived it was spotless and packaged perfectly.Disappointingly, the same cannot be said for the 'Commando +':The speaker arrived seemingly well packaged, but on opening I found that one of the plastic beads from the drawstring bag had been obliterated. The speaker itself also had noticeable marks on the body, which lead me to think it may have been dropped at some point in the factory. Nonetheless, I was feeling positive and confident about the supposed quality of the product itself. After leaving the speaker to charge to it's maximum capacity I connected my phone up. The speaker was easy to connect at first. However I noticed immediately that the connection was incredibly intermittent. The audio was constantly cutting out. Over the past few weeks I have patiently tried to use numerous devices in the hope of a clearer connection, to no avail. I was really hoping that the Commando+ was going to be the best Bluetooth speaker I've owned and that it would be worth the significant investment.On the other hand I must say that when my phone was connected, the audio quality was absolutely incredible and the battery performance was top notch. This makes me think that it might be possible I got a speaker from a 'bad batch' or something.TLDR: If this speaker didn't keep cutting out and had an even reasonable bluetooth range, it could be one of the best bluetooth speakers around.Note: The Sharkk graphic shown here is not what mine had on the front, mine had what assume is an updated logo.

I've gone through a lot of portable speakers and these are by far the best. Couldn't recommend enough. Inedible battery life and great sound quality.
