Best Tent Out There Overall
This tent is absolutely the best overall tent on the market without spending hundreds or thousands. Even then some of the big brands can be lacking in certain areas.First, the tent fabric is sturdy. It's not gorilla thick, but it isn't $500 either. It feels like a nice sturdy canvas. Maybe a bit thicker than what you would find on an average duffel bag, for comparison. Treat it well and it will last a long time.Second, it is absolutely lightproof. There is a catch to this and you have to have your vents closed well. Pay attention to what you're doing and there will not be any problems.Third, is the number of vents on the tent. By far more than any other tent I could find. This is excellent and gives you so much more flexibility for your ventilation options. You could probably get a mini vortex going on in there!Fourth are the zippers. I know some have complained about them, but they're just inexperienced with such things. The zippers are just fine, BUT you do have to exercise caution when closing them. The tip of your finger running just in front of the zipper as you slowly and carefully zip it closed is fine. Maybe this is an inconvenience to some, but this it what it takes to keep those zippers from leaking light. There are a few things to watch out for, but they are not specific to this tent.First, make sure the height of the tent matches your needs. 60 inches (5ft) is not a lot of height once you add a powerful light, and then a container for your plants. If a container is say, 10" deep, and then you need 18" between the top of your plants and the light, that leaves you with 32" (2ft 8in) of height for your plant. Less if your light needs to be further away.Second is the number of cross bars on this size of tent. They all come with 2, but 3 would be much better. They can also be tricky to keep from sliding along the bar, but nothing that can really be done. Some light intervention with zip ties, duct tape, etc can help.Overall if you are looking for a great tent at a very reasonable price, this brand is the one you want. Taller is better, as long as you have the space. Know what your light specs are, and what you can do with the space you have.

good quality for the price
I found this grow tent to be much higher quality than I expected for the price. Very easy to assemble, as long as you DON'T follow the manufacturers instructions to put the whole frame together then slide the tent on over it. That would have been a huge pain. I first unfolded the tent, I have the 24x24x48 model, so the bottom is square, get it right side up and pulled out, assemble just the bottom square of the frame first, and put it in the bottom of the tent, getting it all in place and it gives you a good base to build on, keeping the tent's sides and shape as you add frame pieces. DO NOT put the tray in the bottom until the tent is otherwise completely assembled - it goes on top of the frame. not under it. Then add to each corner the first of two upright pieces, get the holes and buttons aligned. Assemble the top corner pieces on top of each of the second upright corner pieces oriented the way they need to be, and put them on each corner, each one will get easier as the tent becomes supported at the top. Now you have the 4 cross pieces of the top square and two pieces to support things hanging. Put each of the top pieces in their respective spots, you will have to pull the uprights out a little to get enough slack to get the cross pieces in, with the very last one being a little difficult. Make sure all holes and buttons are aligned and the buttons going through the holes on every joint. Now the supports for hanging lights and fans, etc., can easily be inserted with one end going the way you want it across the top, slide the piece at an angle until it will go under the top support on the opposite end. You can cross them if you want to, with one running front to back and another running left to right, because one is bent lower than the other so it will fit under the other support bar, or run them both in the same direction, all depends on what you want. Took me about an hour to assemble, had no real problems, it went right together without any destructive persuasion required.

Almost perfect!
For the price, you can't go wrong with this tent. It has some pinholes but you have to look really hard to see them. The material frays a bit along the cut fabric by the door and windows, but you can quickly run a lighter around these edges and that will take care of the fraying. Zippers are large and work well. I will highly likely buy another grow tent from CoolGrows in the future. The only thing I would add to this tent is reenforced corners, zipper covers like Spider Farmer's, and a tool bag yet this are in no way deal breakers.

Best tent i have seen.
I have purchased several tents in the last couple of years and this is by far the very best I've seen and at the cheapest price I've seen. There are NO light leaks anywhere in the tent. Better than Vivoson and AC infinity. It has 2 large windows, front openings and back openings. Will fit up to 8" exhaust. And best of all, The zippers don't get hung up on the fabric!!! Do recommend having help to assemble the 4'x8'x80". I have only had this set up for 4 days and will give a 1 year review. So far very impressed.
