Signal Booster for TV, excellent!

Twin output 4G shielded
Neat little amplifier that can be wall mounted. Needed it as when I swapped to Sky Q the tv in the kitchen was getting too weak a signal. It had previously had a tv feed from the Sky+ Box that is amplified by the box. Of course Sky Q has no tv aerial input or output. This solved the problem as I just fed the normal aerial out of the wall socket to the SLx input then connected one output to the kitchen feed & the other to the main Tv. Signal is now strong for the DTV from the main aerial on the roof and free view play works perfectly.

Did not work.....
The item (SLx 27822HSG-4G Twin Output Signal Booster - 4G Compatible) unfortunately did not work as advertised, in fact apart from the led light coming on it failed to make any difference to the signal no mater whether I turned the dial up or down. It would appear the item I received was no more than a glorified coax splitter. Very disappointed in the product and have started the return process for a full refund.

Solves reception problems
Great product - we couldn't get signal on some Freeview channels and this box sorted it right out. Reception now comes through for not only the channels we had problems with but a whole load of others we couldn't receive before. Much cheaper than a new aerial!

Doesn't come with a coax patch lead, but otherwise works very well.
Works fine. Not too bulky and it has improved the signal on a long run to a distant TV which was having problems receiving Freeview. Now it's getting 144+ channels, all perfectly. However, it doesn't come with a coax fly lead to attach from the antenna point to the booster. Thats fine if it said, but I would expect one because who has one of those lying around? You can't even use an old one from a video because it requires a male-male cable. But now you know, you can order one to go with it.

while not being amazing, did increase the levels from about 50-60% to ...
Bought this for a new FreeViewer recorder setup.Signal did block out occasionally.I originally order the older model of this - which actually reduced signal strength. This one, while not being amazing, did increase the levels from about 50-60% to 80-90%While 100% would have been nice, I have not observed any issues now, and have not had any reported to me.All live and recorded content seems fine now.

Failed after a few months
Once I'd figured out the optimal way to connect the coax (output to Youview box, then from there to the TV) it seemed to work fine, enabled me to pick up missing HD channels. Curiously, when I ran 2 coax cables independently from the unit to the TV and Youview box it seemed to drop the quality for both, and failed to provide a strong enough signal for those "fringe" channels. Odd. I've got it connected close to the TV rather than the antenna. At the moment it seems to be doing the job and I'm pleased with it. UPDATE. It worked for a few months, now there is zero signal to the TV. Bypassed the booster and we can watch TV again.
