Brilliant for camp coffee!! Forget about expensive coffee presses!
I looked high and low for a cheap and easy way to make coffee on the trail. And this is it! There are some very expensive, complicated, bulky options out there, and I wasn't happy with any of them. The coffee ritual and having a nice hot cuppa is very important to me when I'm in the outdoors, so I really wanted something that would be simple and easy.I looked at so many options. Then I thought about a strainer, so I tried my own and it was a failure. The holes in the strainer were too big. So I looked online and came across this. It works brilliantly! The very fine mesh-like holes work great with coffee, not just tea. There were a few fine grounds in the bottom of the cup, but no more than with a cafetiere/press, so it wasn't an issue. It takes a few minutes to make the coffee, because you have to fill up the infuser about 3 times and wait for it to drip through, then, because I like my coffee strong, I leave it to steep/brew for another couple minutes, but I'm ok with that. It only adds 3-4 additional minutes to my coffee time, and if I'm settled down enough to make coffee, then I'm relaxing anyway and it isn't an issue. The arms fold down, which is great for packing it inside my camp cup, and it cleans out easily with a good swish of water. It's made of stainless steel, so it cleans up well and won't discolour.I paid £2.88 for this item, and it's the best 3 quid I ever spent! I highly recommend this as a way to make camp coffee!

Excellent Infuser
Really like this - a number of reasons. Firstly, it's frame allows you to put this infuser into cups and mugs that are very wide. My own are 10.1cm/4.5" across so I really needed a decent infuser that would sit comfortably in these cups and allow my tea to brew. Secondly, the infuser itself is deep, so it will take a good few heaped spoons of loose tea if you wanted to use this in a teapot. One heaped spoon is plenty to give a great brew for one cup, but I like that I can add more and also use it for the teapot as well. Thirdly, the mesh is fine and is all around the infuser, not just the bottom, which gives a quality brew without allowing lots of loose leaves into the cup. I've tried the ball shaped tongs, and other infusers, but, this is by far the best. This infuser also sits happily in a regular width mug, so it's pretty perfect and on both size cups, it sits deeply, but not so deep that it touches the bottom on the cup/mug. Might have to buy a couple more in case they disappear. Very happy with this item though.

Great quality, good value for money.
Great quality infuser. One arm is longer than most other infusers so it sits better on larger mugs. Following other reviews I add boiled water to the mug, add tea leaves to the infuser separately, then put the infuser into the mug, as this reduces the amount of smaller leaves escaping into the mug. Good value for money, really pleased with it.

Great strainer
I've had this for 4 years now and can report that it's going strong. It's a great stainer/infuser and I've tried many kinds, from the ball type to the spoon type to the shallow strainer on top of the mug sort. This is the best. Most tea bags have some plastic in making of them (save for a few makers). Getting loose organic tea and using it with a stainless steel strainer was one way I could be assured of avoiding crap that's not listed in the ingredients when using teabags.Recommend.

Far better than a tea pot
I"ve not been enjoying my mugs of tea lately, they've been made with tea bags, so changed to loose leaf, its a far better taste, but a pain cleaning out the tea pot afterwards. These strainers are fantastic, and I don't require a tea pot anymore. The strainer has very small holes, so little or no leaves make it through into my mug, just a little dust depending which tea I am using ( leaves make me heave ).Easy to take away with me ( I work offshore ) and no danger of breaking a tea pot, I now just need to find my ideal loose tea, I've recently stopped smoking, so things taste a lot better now, and tea is such a refreshing drink, so I may as well find a brand that I love.

Awesome
Best infuser ever. No messing, plenty of room to move, easy to empty. No signs of fragility when scouring either, although I generally just rinse it unless a tea leaf won't rinse.Never had a tea leaf escape. A true joy.Arms fold down for storage as well.

Chocolate tea, it's the future.
So, I bought this because Twinings discontinued my favourite tea in pyramid bags, but you can buy it loose (Nutty Chocolate). I am doing low carb, and chocolate is a vice that is hard to shake. I was thinking about the floating strainers, and the ones on a chain, but I think I picked the right one. This doesn't leak any leaves, and you can agitate the leaves quite vigorously without fear of it splitting. It works with loose tea, and cacoa nibs (I add them and have a tea bag in the mug) I also have quite a big mug, and it fits that perfectly. To empty, just allow to drain and dump out, a little rinse to get any remaining detritus, and bingo, ready for the next. I read reviews of similar strainers getting tea stuck in the seams, and I haven't had that issue. Basically, it does the job.

Best one I've ever tried!
I love it! I've been trying different types and each one had problems (leaves slipping through, lots of fine powder in the bottom of the cup, etc.) No leaves or fine particles end up in the bottom of my cup! It's easy to clean and the design is excellent. Well made, it stays in place on the cup while the tea steeps. I use it every day! I'm buying two more to give at gifts!

Einfaches Teesieb, macht was es soll
Keinerlei negative Erfahrung damit. Mache damit immer frischen Ingwer Tee und die Aromen gehen sehr gut in das Wasser über. Mehr braucht man dazu wohl auch nicht sagen :D
