I bought this Chamois leather to dry my car with after washing it. It leaves my car smears free and shiny.I have used Chamois leather in the past but what usually used to happen the leather would go dry and crap up and end up virtually useless. So I thought there must be a better way to preserve the leather to prolong it's life.The best way is to gently wash the chamois in a warm soapy water after the use - not washing up liquid - if you don't have soapy water - a little bit of a car wash will do. Then throw the dirty soapy water away and prepare a new clean soapy water and rinse the chamois in this solution squeezing chamois gently rather then wringing - then let it dry stretched out on a flat surface. When dry - scrunch it up and rub it to make it soft again.I know it seems like a lot of hassle to look after the chamois but it definitely lasts better.

This leather makes the cars look spectacular after a good wash. The downside to the leather is that it attracts muck easily which is hard to wash off, but also the size of the leather. The leather is a triangle shape and isn't the largest which can become frustrating when washing cars. Despite getting what you pay for, I would recommend this product as it is a bargain compared to other leathers.

I have already contacted the seller stating that this Chamois smell like hell. It made me feel sick. The whole room quickly fills up with this unbearable smell so you have to take it out. I left it in the garden for a week hoping that the smell will disappear but it has not. In addition, it had no label stating where it was produced, what material was used to produce it so basic information is missing. Whoever packed this item must have noticed this defect and it should not have been send. The seller offered no free label for return and maintains that this is normal. This product does not fit its description and it is not best quality. I can not even use it at all so I am simply out of my pocket. The prduct advertised on site seems to have a label but the one I have received did not and obviously there is a reason for it.

I was pleasanly surprised when this leather came through. It's a good size and made from a single skin, and the cost will not beak the bank. I have given it several rinses and I'm ready to use it on the car if ever this awful rain goes away.I like the leather smell so much, I've bought another (from Car Spares Direct) just to keep under the seat of my car and to give passengers the idea the car is trimmed with leather! Especially as the car's trimmed in cloth and plastic....

A one piece 'real' chamois that works well for drying the car after washing it. Remember to look after it correctly, never use it with dish washing liquid and only store once dry.Not huge, but plenty for a car wash.
