Please note: V-Comm LED dimmer switch is required to run LED bulbs else these drivers will not work properly. Please ask for more info. To get the best performance and longevity for your LED lights and strip lights, LED drivers are needed instead of standard transformers commonly used for halogen spot light bulbs. Without an LED driver there is a possibility that the LED bulb/strip light will either not work or flicker. Work well with Lightwave dimmers
Great product. They work very well with Lightwave dimmers driving a small strip of LED tape, I'd guess 1w of load. Good smooth dimming range at the lower levels. No flicker and no buzzing noise. The wires are soldered in (no terminals inside), so you'll need to solder or use a terminal block to connect them to anything other than an MR16 bulb. Recommended.

Delivery time spot on. Product works fine after upgrading from dimmable halogen to dimmable led lights. Not realising I could not just replace bulbs from halogen to led (As was advertised when buying the led bulbs)! I "Googled" (As one does).. and found the answer to stop the strobe flickering affect we were experiencing. Having bought and installed these, replacing the 12v transformers we had in place for the halogen bulbs everything is fine...Happy me. Shame I did not buy these prior to convincing myself that I needed to fork out umpteen pounds on a new dimmer switch!! :/

Does the job - will be buying more
Necessary when swapping old-fashioned halogen downlighters for diodes when used with a dimmer switch. I swapped-out one installation of 3x dowlighters previously 3x50W and used 3x3W Trango dimmable diodes with these power supplies. With the old dimmer switch will go down to about 50% brightness in my installation, any more will need a specific dimmer. Results in conjunction with Trango's diodes are fine, and I will be using these for the rest of my halogen-to-diode conversion.
