Great! Comfy and accurate
The best mouse I ever owned was a trackball, about 20 years ago. But I was lucky and found it very cheap, they normally cost a fortune. Second-best was probably the "nipple" built into an IBM Thinkpad. But out of the dozens of regular mice I've owned and used over the years, this is the best one! It's weird to use, for about a week then it fits like a glove. Much less strain than a normal mouse, they seem to have invented it to fit human hands and fingers properly, your fingers click and move it with a normal range of movement. Mice weren't originally invented with ergonomics in mind, and the history since the 1960s has just been them copying each other. But not these. The weird sideways design is really good! It's comfy, and I play a lot of games and do a lot of mousing. They're a good price, have 2 bonus buttons on the side, and a resolution-switch button as well. With a completely free program called X-Mouse Button Control, you can redefine the side buttons if you want to, I have mine as volume controls. But you don't have to. It's a good idea and they've made it well, would recommend.

Surprisingly good
I was looking for a ergonomic mouse to replace one which had started to cause problems. When searching, I came across this one and was immediately drawn to the ridiculously low price (my previous mouse cost over £50). Having seen the reviews, some of which were pretty poor, I felt it was worth trying and would not be a complete disaster if it was rubbish. I have to say that I am very pleased I did try it. It has proved, so far, to be an excellent mouse which works entirely as expected and certainly has all the functions I need. I do not use a mouse for gaming etc. but simply as a mouse for what I would call 'normal' functions. All the buttons work as expected and have a satisfying feel and the accuracy of tracking is very good. The design is very comfortable in use and is certainly as good as my previous, more expensive one. I only have one slight gripe in that it could be slightly larger but I consider this a purely personal preference. I will be buying another one as a spare (before someone realises they've made an error with the price) and should they ever make a wireless version then I'll be first in the queue. In summary I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a mouse for 'normal' use.

Does seem to work for my carpal tunnel prone/arthritic wrist and thumb
Having been experiencing a lot of wrist and thumb pain over the past couple of years, I've narrowed it down to use of the mouse at work. Having done a little bit of research on these ergonomic mice I thought I'd try one out. This one is nicely priced for trial. Have opted for the wired one for best connectivity. The cord is not as long as the one on the regular mouse it is replacing; this isn't an issue for me as PC and workspace are close together. It does take a little getting used to and I was wondering if I would keep on with it, but for the moment I will. For me, I feel that the surface of it is a little too smooth, so I have to grip a little more than I'd like to. it is soft and comfortable though, but I feel I could do with a rougher surface for grip. I also think it would be better suited to larger hands, as if I rest my thumb where it wants to go naturally, I find that my index finger isn't as far along the left side of the mouse as I'd like, and I find that if your finger is too far back then when you click it just doesn't pick it up and you end up having to click a lot to get it to perform. To rectify this I have to move my hand round a little further, where it feels like I'm sliding off the mouse some and I grip a little stronger with my thumb. First few days I found it made my thumb ache, but I've just realised that I've spent the whole weekend without having to have my thumb in it's splint, so I can only attribute this to the mouse as nothing else has changed! I think I will keep a look out for something slightly different, but for the time being I will work with this. In terms of space on the desk, it doesn't take up any more room, but it is higher and sometimes I flick my hand to the side and knock it off the table!

Light, comfortable, feels like good quality, no need of a mouse pad. I don't have particular small hands but this mouse is slightly too big for me.

Very comfortable with a nice feel. I have smaller hands and it suit me much better than a more expensive mouse that I have. My writs can rest comfortably and I find it easy adapting from my regular mouse to this new shape.
