Justins has great products but my batch arrived nearly 3 months PAST best by date. wTH?
Come on. My package was loose in the packing envelope. The box was so smashed that it looked like it was just tossed in there in an already damaged state. I can almost overlook that, but then I took a look at the expiration date. I normally dont care, but since I bought this on the warehouse, I wanted to check to see how far out the best by or expiration is. It is normal for the warehouse items to be anywhere from a couple of weeks to a few months out. That is a trade off for the reduced cost. BUT, it is not supposed to be EXPIRED product. On the magnitude of nearly 3 months. Mine has best by date of late May 2022. GOOD GRIEF.Now, I am going to eat this anyway, because I know most products dont go bad the day of the date. I happen to have eaten some Justins products a couple years old without degradation in smell or taste. But I dont want to knowingly buy old product. I do know that the Inspected food is supposed to at least have some time left on it before selling. What happened?Between the smashed up box (again, didnt look like a box that got smashed in shipping, it was so torn apart that it didnt even look like it came in a product box. It was put in there all banged up), and the terribly over past expiry/best by date.. Im disappointed.Product itself? I love Justin's products. Been buying the packets on and off for years. I prefer peanut butter but I gave the maple almond butter a try based on sale price. I like using the packets for on the go use. Can add to food, or eat direct from packet. I always have some tucked away in my car (in a critter proof container) as emergency food. Great for camping, hiking, bug out bags, etc.

Tastes great, but too expensive
These are very convenient. They taste delicious. But the price is outrageous. You can buy a whole jar for so much cheaper. The convenience of the packets is nice, but the price is just not fair.

You may get addicted
This stuff is so good I’m honestly addicted to it now. I weirdly enjoy squeezing/massaging the pack beforehand, almost like a stress ball. And the buttery sweet nuttiness that comes out is so yummy. And low sugar?!? WHAMO.The maple is the best flavor of the bunch. I also tried the vanilla, which is yummy but more expensive (at least rn), and the chocolate hazelnut, which just left me wanting better hazelnut chocolate spread.I can’t wait for the once a month when my 10 packets come in the mail and I can snack on them morning and night for a few days until I inevitably run out and am left wishing I had more. I honestly can’t live without it now and seriously considered giving it a 1 star review because of the chance of addiction. Cuz it’s not exactly cheap.Bottom line, this stuff is so good that by trying it you risk addiction to it. Make of that what you will, good or bad.
