I tried multiple hooded blankets. I’ll explain why this one is superior.So this is extremely soft. I mean it’s definitely velvety and cushy. It’s also thicker than I imagined it would be - an added bonus as I kind of anticipated the same thickness of like a fleece blanket or something. This has some heft to it.It’s the right color. I would say pretty darn close to the pink that the image showed, which I am so pleased with.It’s long. I’m 5’3 and this comes halfway down my calves. Perfect. It’s baggy and roomy. I’m also a bigger gal - I have a 40H bust and a larger belly. This thing dwarfs me. I’m 240 lbs and it’s huge. I’m happy!The last one I tried had the “Sherpa” fabric which I despise. Anyone with sensory issues will tell you Sherpa fabric is hellish - like microfiber towels!!! So many of the others had the soft fabric like this on the exterior but the inside had the Sherpa fabric. That Sherpa fabric bunches and becomes awful and clumpy in the wash. While i haven’t washed this yet, it’s definitely well made.The cuffs of the hooded blanket are a bonus. I didn’t know if I would like them as opposed to large openings but it’s so handy for doing things and not getting fabric in the way.I was going to bring it out later in the evening but 15 minutes after I put it away I brought it back out and am wearing it as I speak.Huge 5 stars from me. I love it. It’s a keeper. I’d buy more for others.

I love this wearable blanket. It is different from others in that it has a Sherpa look lining. It’s quite warm. It falls a few inches above the ankle, so it’s comfortable to wear without concern for slipping or getting wrapped around feet. The generous size can fit almost any body type. It is like wearing a blanket.It’s well made and the fabric is plush and easy on the skin. It has knitted cuffs on the wrists, so I can push the cuffs up before washing hands. It’s pull on, so vert easy to use. I recommend arms first because of the size, it’s easy to make a mistake and put my head where the arms go. That was interesting!I put this on and find I want to turn down the heat because it’s too hot. It’s a win.

SERIOUS ISSUE WITH CONSISTENCY OF MATERIAL!!!I ordered several of these a few years ago and they were Amazing! Read my original review below for more. I just ordered three more for gifts and I'm so glad I checked them out before sending them out as gifts! The quality of material has gone down so much i hardly believe they are from the same company. The old one is MUCH heavier, the fabric was thick and plush, almost like a fur rug. This new material is more like a thin airplane blanket with a bit of plush. Everything about it feels cheap compared to the old ones. I'm really disappointed. I thought I had found the perfect winter loungewear and gifts for everyone but now I have to start seeking something else.ORIGINAL REVIEW:My house is huge, older, and not very well insulated. In the winter it gets cold enough to freeze a gallon of water in the dog bowl outside all the way through some nights. We like to build fires and mostly hang out in our bedrooms or the living room so it's a terrible waste of energy and money to heat the whole house just for an occasional stroll down the hallway. We often wear slippers and sweaters or robes, but there are also times we just roam around like hobos with quilts or blankets draped around us and that's far from convenient, especially if you are trying to do anything with your hands!Enter this amazing Hoody Blanket from Waitu. OMG is it soft! And PLUSH! It feels like some of my favorite thick and plush furry throw blankets. You know the material that feels like rabbit fur! It's amazing. It's also way thicker than a lot of the nice quality throws. The size is ENORMOUS all the way around. The hood stays in place perfectly but doesn't get in the way. The size is so roomy there is no feeling of being wrapped in a blanket, but it keeps all the heat in-- so much in fact that I had to remove it after a short time, but the temp was not that low so I am really looking forward to trying it out in the coldest winter nights!I can see this getting a LOT of use around the campsite as well as going to see fireworks or outdoor movies and other picnic sort of events that run into the night.It is so comfortable I already ordered 4 more as gifts for my family and best friend because I know mine will be stolen if I don't!I just received it so if anything goes wrong (stitches falling apart or anything I can't tell at first try) I will update this review.For reference I am 5foot 3inches and weigh 235 pounds and this is HUGE on me. It also almost reaches my feet, but the sleeves are not too long. It's fantastic.Update: I have washed this a couple of times and it's just as soft and snuggly as it was out of the package. Great quality. I received the other hooded blankets and one of them had a small issue with the stitching on the pocket. Customer support was extremely responsive and sent me a replacement very quickly. Great communication and an absolutely beautiful product. I'd give it 10 Stars if I could.

Worth every penny- super warm and fuzzy! It's a nice thickness, a little bit heavy, like a really good quality fuzzy blanket. I found myself wearing this to take my dogs out during the winter up north, surprisingly, the cold breaze didn't seem to get through it. I'm 5'5"ish and it goes almost to my ankles. The front pocket is great to securely hold my phone without falling out, but has enough space to probably tuck a whole cat into. I got a different brand for my husband, his is way thinner but he likes that. So if you want a legit blanket hoodie, and you're always cold- this is it.
