A nice large wooden busy board for 3+ kids
This is a nice large busy board that measures about 15" x 12". The wood board is nicely finished with no rough edges or burrs. Your child could easily hold this in their lap or place it on the floor or kitchen table. There are all sorts of warning messages on the package for loose parts so we are holding off giving this to our 2-year grandson. The play items on this toy include zippers, snaps, velcro, and a snap buckle that you might find on a backpack. There is also a small shoe shape piece with shoe laces so a kid can practice tying their shoe laces- very clever. There is a doorbell and one play toy that you need to move up a track. Good for hand movement control to see if they can figure out how to move the yellow piece up the track to the top. There is also a metal hinge with a slide lock, a couple of wooden gears that do move when you spin them, and a caster at the bottom that seems to go with the wooden pieces next to it. There are no instructions in the box but there is mention of info on their website that I have not checked out.On the back of the wooden play set, is a counting board and an alphabet with some basic shapes. I suppose these could be colored in by your child if they wanted to but I am not sure about removing the colors. They could trace the shape with a crayon or similar item to practice their basic writing skills. You could use tracing paper over these and have them follow the shapes for each letter or number.I think for a child that will be going to preschool, this could be a very good learning toy that would be fun at the same time.

Cute, modern, fun exploring toy
I really like how this toy looks. It's wood, which just feels more high quality, and it's colorful without being too gaudy. its also QUIET which I love!! My 18 month old likes the toy even though it's a little old for him, so I hope that it will grow with him for quite awhile!I think it will age well and mostly stand up to some light beatings. I say "mostly" because on the second day the little "shoelace holes" broke off. They were made of a super cheap wood. But there's still 2 other sets of holes for the laces to go thru so not a big deal to me.The board comes with 2 wooded slats with notches cut into them, and a small wooden dowel. I finally figured out that the slats are like a type of easel, or kickstand, to rest the board on so it can stay upright. Super helpful! I still have no idea what the dowel does though. Maybe for tracing letters on the back?

Lots of skills to learn!
I have 3 year and 6 year-old boys. I primarily purchased the board for my 3 year old, mainly for the writing section on the back. The skills on the front are too easy for him, with the exception of the knot tying, which will be useful. The writing section worked well during the brief time he was focused, and my older child wanted to practice, too. Kids can use the included stylus, or just their finger to trace the engraved letters and numbers. It’s very sturdy, and will be used for a while (with the exception of maybe the zipper, it seems like it could be torn easily). The stylus and legs are loose parts that would be easy to get lost. Overall, I’d recommend it, especially for the writing section.

A Pricey Yet Satisfactory Busy Board for Busy Minds
This was a well packaged, straight forward busy board.I opened the box and found exactly what the description promised.I was not wowed nor was I disappointed.Given the abundance of options of these types of products, my only negative is that the value to price ratio is slightly low. This is a nicely assembled busy board it's seemingly durable (so far), but perhaps I was expecting more with a $37.99 price tag, especially given how quickly these products become less interesting (challenging) as children age.

Very basic board, but will do for a starter
I've gone through several of these from Amazon already. They sort all ended up being very similar. This one however, has the shapes, numbers, and the alphabet in the back side of the board. And that's the side we use the most because my son's at that age when he's able to visually pick up this learning phase. All the pieces on the front (play side) are very basic at best. I've worked with a board of the same size, but having many more playable features. But like I mentioned in the title, if your child is only beginning to explore this wonderful world, this board is not a bad starter, considering its price point. For a gift, I won't be using this board because of how lackluster it is in total number of features. But for distant friend's families, maybe.

Very interesting toy
The media could not be loaded. Great quality busy board , came nicely Packaged .The board itself is very thick and it has smooth surface. This toy was really interesting for my 3yo toddler, he really enjoyed to play with it and learn something new .The board is pretty big . It is great for toddler sensory development, especially his hands and fingers. The only thing i found it a bit pricey.

Well-made and useful
This kind of sensory toy is perfect for anyone who likes stimming/stimulating, whether that be during lessons, lectures, work or just time at home. There's a wide variety of things to use and fiddle with on this - so even if the recipient doesn't like one thing, they should enjoy making use of some of the other 'features'. There's a variety of times of sensory stimulation on offer with this board, to interact with and engages all parts of the brain. The size of the board also means that everything isn't crammed in place, either. It all feels of high-quality, and as if it could be used repeatedly for many months, probably even years. The alphabet on the reverse side is a neat bonus, and would be useful more for kids and such. Overall, very good quality, and not too bad value for money, either.

Interesting product
I will be keeping this for my nearly 4 month old grandson, so when he gets to that inquisitive age I am sure he will want to play with this for hours, it comes with a detachable stand, it has lots for little ones to explore.I prefer the wooden toys to plastic so that makes this more environmentally friendly. My only gripe is the price,, I wouldn’t pay anywhere near the asking price I’m afraid.

Lovely busy board but a bit pricey
This is a great busy board. It's double sided so one side are your activities, laces, zips etc which are good for teaching your toddler how to do things like tying shoes. The other side has letters, numbers and basic shapes which your child can trace using the "pen"provided. It also has two holders so you can position the board vertically rather than it just lie flat. Its a lovely busy board and well made but at £39.99 (on the day of review) its rather pricey.

Busy board Sensory toy.
This is a well made and well designed busy board for little ones. Double sided this arrived well packaged and in its own presentation box making it ideal for gifting. It has all the various activities on the one side and the alphabet on the other and the little one who we gave this to really enjoyed playing with it and it held her attention for a length of time. However I do feel that £40.00 is too expensive for this board and I think the price is prohibitive and might put people off purchasing. Other than the price this is a great sensory toy for young children over the age of 3.
