The house I moved into a couple months ago had no smoke detectors! I immediately ordered these and set them up. They were super easy to install and these babies are LOUD. They also WORK. Just today my partner blew out a candle and it set off the alarm. I’m happy for the peace of mind!

Read a horror story on aged/defective smoke detectors and went straight to Amazon to replace those in my home. These were very easy to install. I loved the adhesive option, for those of us that aren't tool handy. Can't rate the battery life at this point but so far, so good!

Works well and good size. Very pleased.

Pretty small-- about 3" across & 1.5" deep. The steel mounting plate either sticks on with an adhesive pad or fastened with the included screw. It has magnets to stick to the mounting plate, and a 1/8 turn to locks it on. The 9-volt battery is included. I tested the alarm, holding down the button and it's loud! Otherwise, the only way to know it's on is by a little red LED that blinks every 35 seconds. Good price. I'm happy with it.

The mounting bracket sucks… won’t stay attached to the wall.. gotta add a nail or glue it on

Smoke or Fire does not trigger this smoke alarm - Useless - waste of money - It will not save you or your house. Avoid at all cost.
