Cable Matters Combo Pack 270 Degree and 90 Degree Angled HDMI Adapter (Right Angle HDMI) with 4K and HDR Support

Ordered this as it has both angles, pointing up or pointing down, i wanted pointing down, ordered previously a single item from another seller that showed a downward angle but was sent an upward angle. This item works and tidies my laptop power cable to allow my second screen to be closer to my laptop screen.

I recently picked up the Cable Matters Combo Pack with the 270-degree and 90-degree angled HDMI adapters, and I’ve found them to be pretty useful. I often have to connect devices in cramped places, and these adapters really help to keep everything tidy and avoid bending the cables too much. The 4K and HDR support is a nice touch, too. I've noticed that my connection remains solid even when pushing high resolution, which is a plus. The build quality seems decent they feel sturdy and not flimsy like some other adapters I've tried. If you’re dealing with tight setups or just need to reroute your HDMI cables without hassle, these adapters definitely do the job. Overall, I’d say it’s a handy little pack to have around.

I use this on a wall mounted TV to stop the severe bend in a HDMI cable due to the proximity of the TV to the wall. It is a much better option than bending the cable and causing damage. I estimate that 99% of the time the adaptor works perfectly. But occasionally half of the picture will freeze on the TV which I cannot seem to get id of easily. Eventually it disappears and returns to normal. But this doesn't happen very often.

These are very well-made, compact adapters with gold connections, that produce no apparent loss of signal. I used mine in an HDMI wall-socket to translate the cable from sticking straight out the back, to sticking out of the side of the wall box. I still needed a deep (47mm) box (combined with the fitting behind the HDMI faceplate, the overall depth of the arrangement is approx 35mm). The two units supplied in the pack offer different 'handedness' - so you have a choice of which side of the box the cable exits.

This item is very good quality but it doesn't fit where I wanted it to so had to apply for a refund. This was purchased for my pc case to keep the hdmi at an angle as I use a thick braided cable that just sticks out the back of the pc for my second monitor. Sadly it wouldn't fit as the radius of the bend and the height of the adapter catches on the case. I did however test it on other devices for reviewing purposes and it works as expected. Nice and cheap, fairly well built and does what you'd expect of usb 2.0. However in my case I couldn't use them but that's not a knock on the product, it's just not right for my needs. So rating based on the quality and performance.

In an effort to keep cables neat and tidy behind a flush, wall mounted TV I was hoping this would stop the HDMI cable rubbing or pushing the bottom the the TV away from the wall. Unfortunately on two TVs I tried there was insufficient room on the TV's connection panel to accommodate both the 90deg. connector and the cable's plug. Shame!
