AHAVASoftening Butter Salt Scrub

Love this brand

I was so disappointed with this product. I have been a loyal customer of Ahava and use their hand products daily. Their intensive hand mud  AHAVA Dermud Intensive Hand Cream 100 ml  is particularly amazing and smells wonderful.This product, however, did not meet my expectations. The ratio of salt to butter is very poor - there is much, much too much butter and far too little salt. It makes your hands very slippery even after you have rinsed them, yet somehow it fails to moisturise my skin properly. All it seems to do is make them slippery. I have been using another brand's salt scrub for many years and it has always left my hands feeling soft and moisturised, but I have now used up that tub and needed a replacement (sadly I cannot buy the same product as it was purchased in America some time ago and I cannot find the same product anywhere now). I was expecting the same results from this product but it fails to deliver.With regard to scent, there is hardly any fragrance to it when in the tub, but does leave a very slight buttery scent on my hands after use. It is a smell which I do not find particularly pleasant, however, which is also disappointing, given how lovely the scents from this company are in their other products.It is with much regret that I have to say I cannot recommend this product at all.
