Cocktail recipes
Good-looking book, well illustrated. Cocktails are listed according to spirit e.g. vodka, rum etc so it's easy to find your favourite. And recipes for other spirits and tips for serving. Some really wonderful drinks! Matilda

Fantastic must have for cocktail lovers
I saw this fantastic little book in a bookshop and just had to get it as a present for my girlfriend. This book is crammed with lots of different recipes, divided into the different main spirits used and even has fun facts about some of the cocktails. Nice easy to follow methods and ingredient lists. My only quibble is that the measurements aren’t in ml but says 2 measures of, but that’s not a big issue as people may like to use different sized measures. Highly recommend for a cocktail lover!

Great how to guide
Really clear guidance and practical recipes, most of which don’t require too many or obscure ingredients.

Can't recommend highly enough
Nicely laid out, with lots of exceptionally nice cocktails many of which can can be made with routine stuff lying around the house. I've had mine for a few years now (it was a godsend through the covid lockdowns) and it now looks like one of my mum's cookbooks - covered in hand-written notes with some additional cocktails stuck on with postit notes. This copy was a present for an up and coming cocktail drinker and they love it too.

Great gift
I bought this as a gift along with a cocktail kit and it went down a treat. There are loads of cocktails and they are well categorised.

Pound for pound the best cocktail book
Really good book. The book advises on what's needed and actually throughout the book the same core ingredients are used. Most books are just chaotic in that sense but this one it actually pretty thoughtful. It's arranged by type of cocktails and it has a comprehensive catalogue of cocktails- couldn't find any that were missing.

Lots of recipes but light on insights or advice
This has a huge repertoire for you to be attracted to. Handily divided into base spirit sections. However I prefer to have a bit more of a guiding hand on the in’s and out’s of making some of these creations. I have found The Spirits by Richard Godwin a much better guide as well witty book on feeling ones way into cocktails. So this is a very large collection of recipes with some strange omissions like the Sazerac, Penicillin or the Boulevardier. But hey there is more than a lifetimes worth of recipes. My only other grumble is 1/4 measure of something! Using a jigger to make those kind of judgements is not easy. Why not give millilitres as he does go to the trouble of offering ml= 1 tablespoon on the back of his title page. Despite my feeling they are wrong. Tablespoon from a kitchen set offers 10 ml not 15 but hey. Cheers
