Brilliant for University
Was bought as a birthday present for me before I head off for university, all the pieces that were there were of a wonderful standard, however, the magnifying glass and the 2 sample pins that are shown in the picture were not present upon arrival? Slightly put out about that but other than that I'm satisfied.

A bit "plastic-y"
Bought this for dissection for university biology degree. It's a bit plasticky and some parts like for example the magnifying glass are absolutely useless. Ended up ordering a more professional kit from the NHBS for not much more in price either...

Nice little neat medical surgeons pack,Contains just about everything you'd need in a medical kit.Seems well made and the zip up case keeps everything together, very pleased with this compact surgical case and equipment.

Introduction to microscopy disecting kit
Great for slide preparation for microscopy. Magnifying glass is useless. Replaced it with another pair of fine tweezers. Rest is really good for the money. Be careful storing scalpels with blades attached. Risky.

Decent kit
I mean, you're purchasing a dissection kit from Amazon. Bought this for botanical field study and does the job just fine. Everything's perfect, the magnifying glass is a bit odd, but it does work, and I use a hand lens anyways

The little magnifying glass, isnt really a magnifying glass, but it does let you see clearer, rather than closer.Apart from that, its a good set of tools.
