Used this food twice, while my senior dogs (both age 12) were very poorly. One with inflammatory bowel disease and the other pneumonia (they would not eat). This is the only food they would eat. It was a lifesaver. A real lifesaverAnd in an emergency, Amazon " Prime" was up to it's usual high standard, with next day delivery. So any senior dog owners out there just remember this product.

Fabulous product used for our poorly puppy. She loves this formula and thoroughly enjoys the taste. Full of all nutritional elements and we always keen some in stock if she goes off her food as it’s a wonderful product which actually saved her life when she had hypoglycaemia.

This product is always my Go to fall back plan when I have cats/kittens off their food, or need to be weaned from mums. It smells so good I’m almost tempted to try it, lol. Imagine farleys rusks for babies.....l but with the smell of malted milk... think malteasers. Now you can understand why it’s so irresistible to them. Plus nutrionally it a perfect food... I suppose you can call this the complan for pets, but the smell is far more tempting. Pets feeling poorly will only eat if it’s absolute food bliss for them. This is that product! Been using it for over 12 years and it never fails when it’s needed.

Great for my hedgehogs who are not eating

My elderly cat is extremely fussy with food now and is getting very skinny because although he eats, he doesn't eat enough. I have just started giving him some of this powdered food as snacks in between meals which ensures he is getting some nutrients into him. He likes the taste although it smells a bit like powdered baby milk... well from what I can remember anyway! Not sure if it is helping him put on weight yet as its early days but the vet today approved it, so I will carry on with it as well as a variety of different wet and dry foods to try and entice him into eating. It certainly won't be detrimental to his health anyway. So far so good!

Our dog, Oscar had been very poorly with prostate problems and had lost a lot of weight. He was not interested in his food and a friend told us about Royal Canin. Oscar now has a mixture of food supplemented with Royal Canin and it has certainly put a spring back in his step, he has also put some weight on. We are going to continue using this for as long as Oscar feels he needs it.

Use this when my ferrets are poorly and it really boosts their weight. Sometimes they don't like it so I add complan chicken powder to it too which they love xx

Tengo una gatita de una semana y media aproximadamente, algún bestia la echó a mi jardin pensando que porque tenía dos perros pastores alemanes la matarían pero se equivocaron. Mi perro pastor alemán de 5 años, macho, me la trajo con mi perra en la boca con muchísima delicadeza porque se la encontró tirada en el jardín.Estaba deshidratada, desnutrida y gracias a sus ahora "hermanos" perrunos está saliendo adelante. Support Instant me lo recomendó la veterinaria como ayuda y complemento con la leche materna una vez al día. Se lo come como una lima. Le encanta y está después de una semana en casa como una leona pequeñita. Le ha ayudado por si tiene carencias con la leche materna de sustitución y ayuda a que no pierda el apetito. Estoy muy contenta. Espero que salga adelante y que lo que surgió como un acto de bestialidad para matarla es un acto de amor de toda su "manada". Y que conste que ya lo hicieron antes, lo de abandonar un gatito en mi jardín, pero esa vez murió por deshidratación cuando mi perra me la trajo llorando y lamiéndola para intentar "revivirla" el gatito estaba muerto. Esta vez no les ha salido bien y como les pille les voy a meter una denuncia que van a flipar.

et sans surprise : certes le carton d'emballage d'origine est un peu cabossé mais les sachets sont en parfait état avec une dluo tout à fait correcte : 07 2019 ; quand comme moi on accompagne un très très vieux chat (23 ans) dans sa fin de vie ,avoir un bon produit allégé du côté prix ça aide; j'ai cependant eu l'occasion d'utiliser Convalescence Support dans des circonstances à l'issue heureuse :c'est un excellent produit, très appétent, sinon facile à administrer à la seringue puisqu'on lui donne la consistance qu'on veut; les sachets lyophilisés se congèlent , j'en ai toujours d'avance , avec ma tribu de 4 pattes il faut s'attendre à tout.

Eines meiner Frettchen hatte eine schwere Laryngitis; da ihm das Schlucken so viel Schmerzen bereitet hat, wollte er tagelang kaum mehr etwas zu sich nehmen (außer Wasser), und dadurch verlor er sehr schnell bedrohlich an Gewicht. Convalescence wird praktisch von jedem - nicht nur von Tierärzten - empfohlen, der schon einmal ein Tier aufpäppeln musste. Die Verträglichkeit scheint weitestgehend gegeben zu sein - besonders sensible Mägen gibt es allerdings überall, daher würde ich raten, eine (dem Gewicht/ der Größe angepasste) kleinere "Testportion" zuzubereiten.Vergleichbar ist Convalescence mit Aufbau- oder Astronautennahrung. Dementsprechend sieht es (mit Flüssigkeit angerührt) auch aus. Vom Geschmack her scheint es (für Tiere) so-lala zu sein - ich bin sicher, dass mein Frettchen es mit mehr Begeisterung (trotz Halsschmerzen) aus der Spritze geschleckt hätte, hätte es ihm besser geschmeckt. Aber a) entweder hat er sich an den Geschmack gewöhnt oder b) er hat gespürt, dass das Zeug "gesund" für ihn ist, da er es bei der 3. Portion (nicht bei dem 3. Beutel; ich habe kleine Einzelportionen aus einem Beutel zubereitet) freiwillig geschleckt hat, zuletzt auch vom Löffel.Ich habe das Produkt auch einmal mit (ungewürzter!) Hühnerbrühe angerührt - vermutlich wäre das nicht nötig, da Convalescence auch so alle Nährstoffe enthalten sollte, aber ich glaube, das verbessert ein bisschen den Geschmack. Dieser sollte natürlich nicht im Vordergrund stehen (es geht ja darum, dass der Tiergefährte wieder zu Kräften kommt), aber auch bei Krankheit kann ein wenig Abwechslung nicht schaden.Positiv bewerte ich, dass die Beutel einzeln verpackt sind (auch wenn ich sonst ein Gegner solcher Verpackungen bin), da sich das Pulver so sehr gut aufbewahren lässt, ohne dass man Angst haben muss, dass Nährstoffe u.ä. verloren gehen. Ebenso kann man angerührte Reste bis zu 24 Stunden im Kühlschrank aufbewahren (da es etwas eindickt, muss man aber evtl. noch etwas Flüssigkeit hinzugeben).Ob sich Tiere Nahrung/Flüssigkeit (mit einer Einwegspritze) eingeben lassen, hängt auch immer ein bisschen vom Tier selbst ab, nicht nur vom Produkt, oder vom Geschmack des Produkts. Ich hoffe, dass mein anderes Frettchen nie "Zwangsernährt" werden muss, weil der mir so in die Spritze beißt, dass ich Angst habe, er zwackt Stücke ab, die er dann unfreiwillig verschluckt :/

14歳、雄、胃ろうチューブ設置済み。十二指腸に高分化型悪性リンパ腫、慢性膵炎、糖尿病を患う愛猫です。(薬はステロイド、抗がん剤、インスリンを投与してます。)こちらの高栄養パウダーを胃ろうチューブを通してあげ始めてから、体重の低下が止まりました。ヒルズのa/dや退院サポートよりも、吸収が良いようです。(あくまで、うちの猫の場合ですが。)ただ、ヒルズのa/dや退院サポートよりも、便秘になりやすいです。(その場合、ロイヤルカナン消化器サポート可溶性繊維をピルクラッシャーで砕いて、水につけて4時間冷蔵庫保管後、乳鉢乳棒ですり潰し、水で溶いてから胃ろうチューブを通してあげてます。)それと、ヒルズのa/dや退院サポートよりも、ベタつくのでチューブの交換時期が若干早くなるかもしれません。しかしながら、本当にありがたい商品です。
