Hard to assemble, but really worth the effort as the product is excellent! I now have three of these storing equipment outside. I was wary at first, after reading some reviews, so just bought one. Assembly is not easy. It suggests using a power drill with a special bit to turn she screws. However, if you see the last photo in my review, you can see the tools I used to assemble three of these storage tubs (I purchased another two!). I used a plumbers wrench to hold the nuts in place whilst I used the mole wrench, which can be tightened to grip the screws and slowly tighten the screws through the metal bars. Doing this with just a screwdriver is NOT possible, as the screws don't just slide though the holes, but they do go through with the wrench method and one they get through, they can then be tightened by hand with a screwdriver. Do not go out and buy smaller screws as some reviews suggest, as the end product won't be sturdy. The screws provided are the correct size.The product is really sturdy; it reminds me of the Little Tiles type plastic that has a bit of soft bounce to it, with prevents it being easily cracked on impact. I can stand up in the middle of the box lid and it feels like it very easily takes my weight. One thing to note is that when you open the lid, it opens slightly behind the box, so if up against a wall, you need to leave a small gap behind the box. The colour I bought was 'brown' but in reality it is a taupe sort of brownish grey.

Watch the you tube video and the instructions before you put this together and you won’t go wrong . I kept going back to the video just to make sure I was doing the right thing . It’s not a cheap click together break quickly box so it’s harder to put together You do need check you have all the tools needed as none are provided , and even with an electric screwdriver some screws needed a bit of force behind it as the the pre drilled holes are deliberately small , a drill with a screwdriver attachment and more power would be easier, but it does work . I managed it by myself, it took about 3 hours. Very pleased , even in our downpour rain the garden cushions have kept dry .

Good dimensions and sturdy box, but will take on water at the bottom during heavy rain. Price varies massively on amazon.

This took me just over one and a half hours to build on my own, and I'm no expert.It was easier than I expected, especially after given the instructions a brief read through.Lining up the front, back, and sides required a little jiggering about, but just a little patience and double checking of the slots was all that was needed.A few of the holes required pre-drilling, but that was about it.It's a sturdy, rugged box, with plenty of room for cushions etc.I won't know how waterproof its going to be, but I've wrapped the cushions in large plastic bags and I'll see how it goes.All in all, I highly recommend this storage box, and would like to thank the company for making it such an easy item to construct.

I was looking for weatherproof storage for our outdoor patio cushions and I brought this based on existing reviews. May be the assembly/instructions/manufacturing has been improved since some of the earlier reviews as I had no issues at all.I have two pieces of advice:1. I would recommend using bradawl to pierce the plastic, then add the screws. This will give you a cleaner finish. I did not do this on the first two holes and the plastic stretched.2. The measurements shown in the pictures are external. The internal space is slightly smaller (approx 20 mm) - also on the height, you loose at the rear corners due to the gas hinges.Overall - I am really pleased with how easy this was to assembly. It looks sturdy and the cushions fit nicely.Given we are experiencing a heatwave , only time will tell on the "weatherproof". I've scored a 3 as it looks pretty solid but its untested from POV

Delivered in good time. Had 2Boxes very heavy but well packed. Checked both boxes and no problems. Only made 1 box so far all went ok did drill some pilot holes to ease some of the screws. We had 1/2in rain over night and completely dry inside. Very pleased with the Boxes and love the shade of brown. We have the box standing on 8 bricks so when it rains the water runs way Instead of collecting round the box.

The product material is weatherproof as is all plastic but it is not waterproof (no seals). Excellent step by step build instruction, although you need two sockets, spanner’s and screwdrivers. Strong sturdy box with gas filled struts fitted on the lid, so no need to hold the lid up. Overall a good product.

Sturdy and great quality product. Installation also helped by an instructional video which was a brilliant help.Must also highly compliment their customer service as I had a slight problem with a gas spring which they promptly sent a replacement for with no quibble.Very very pleased with product and highly recommend,

I dont usually write reviews, but I had to write a quick review on this product.I just got done putting together the Lifetime 116 gallon deck box. I am writing because I am super impressed with the quality of the product itself. I just got done returning a deck box from "Plastic development". That product was super easy to put together, but it was cheaply made and the parts didnt fit together properly. (Lid wouldnt close properly). I returned it because of the overall quality and issues.The Lifetime deck box was actually cheaper and MUCH better quality. It was definitely more involved in putting it together...but this is a good thing. Things "snap" in place just fine, but for added stability you actually put screws into the plastic to hold pieces together so they dont come apart. I'm pretty good at this and it took me a good 90 minutes to do. But once it was done it was well worth the added time. Also, they have an online video you can look at for the tricky parts. There were a couple of places I pulled up the video so I could validate I was putting the screws in the right place. (Dont want to be wrong there).Even though I dont know yet that it is waterproof...I have no doubt from how well it is put together that it will be. only thing I could think of is if the lid flew up in a storm. But the hinges will keep it down I would imagine.

Montaje fácil, se maneja bien, es enorme y cumple su función con creces. Buenos materiales, buen acabado y lo mejor, las instrucciones de montaje, así da gusto.

I bought a second one because the first I'd have rated 5 stars. The one just delivered wasn't designed the same. Two sets of bolts were too big and consequently had to use alternates. Hence the ratings for sturdiness, easiness to assemble and durability at 3 but overall 4 after two purchases. I just can't say how the new one will pan out.

J'ai monté seul ce coffre en une petite heure. C'est une très belle fabrication.Le montage se fait sans problème, tout s'emboire parfaitement et, chose de plus en plus rare, la notice de montage est limpide.Seul tout petit hic, il faut des outils que tout le monde n'a pas nécessairement, comme une visseuse. En effet, les parois étant épaisses et les vis assez grosses, un vissage à la main peut vite devenir un peu pénible. Je dirais que c'est aussi le prix à payer pour un produit de qualité...

Great box. Super sturdy Most likely waterproof. It’s pretty tight. I’d give 5 stars but…… some of the holes in the metal brackets are too small for the screws to go through.Solution… I used a drill and put it in the hole in the metal bracket and rotated it like I was stirring something to make the holes a little bigger and then the screws fit fine. Once I figured that out, the rest was easy. I built most of it myself, but needed help when it came time for the lid. Much easier with 2 people. You need someone to hold it in position while you attach it.I sat on it and it seemed pretty sturdyHolds a lot of stuff too. I got it for my patio cushions. I have 2 chaise cushions and about 8 pillows in it and a little room left over.And… it looks really nice on the porch.I would buy it again. If the holes were the right size it would have been assembled in less than an hour including reading directions, assembling tools and unpacking. It took me 2.5 hours since I had to deal with the frustration of the holes being too small Pain in the butt.
