Truper 33583 1-1/2-Inch Replacement Steel Handle For Wheelbarrow, Heavy Duty, 1-Piece

These handles were used to replace existing metal handles on a wheel barrow.They handle the weight without issue and have pre-drilled holes. One of my hole sets didn't line up (likely the handle wasn't designed for my specific wheel barrow model) but this was easily addressed with a quick re-drill.

Better than original

These handles are even thicker and stronger than I figured for the price. Cannot beat the new strength of my old barrow. My wood handles failed after just 4 years, but these appear that they will last forever. I did not even have to drill. It fit perfect.

Honestly I don't know why someone would buy just one of these, seeing as they are quite stout and I don't think that just one would break. They do not work well when just replacing one, because the wood handle is of different size and is hard to use. These handles fit only one specific 'barrow' and I have yet to figure out which one it is. It's not the Jackson, or the Ames, because both of those needed drilling into the handle to put back onto mine. The cost of one handle is just $10 less than the pair, so what's the point?

The handle looked sturdy, but after I received it, I found the same handle locally for less than half the price.So, I returned it to Amazon.

Drilled exactly as the original handle, and is the same length, and similar dimensionally as the handles they replace. They the trick and I now have a workable wheelbarrow after the old handles rotted and eventually snapped where the bolts went through. You can buy other handles and drill them, but this was definitely worth the extra cost vs drilling your own, only took 10 minutes to replace both using the original hardware (1/2" nuts). There is a finish on them, and though it says "hardwood", it looks and feels light and soft (pine? birch? alder?) to me. It is only one handle as others have said, which is a little weird, but hey, maybe you only need to replace one? Otherwise, order 2, as i did. They came in the same box.

Bought this handle hoping it was for the pair after my original wheelbarrow broke one handle. A large box showed up with only 1 handle and shipping cost more than the handle itself over $90.00 for one handle delivered , almost all the holes lined up then used the wheel barrow for two loads then the other handle broke ……just go buy a new wheel barrow it would be cheaper in the end !

I thought I ordered 1 pair of handles for a wheel barrow. I got 1 handle. So sad. But I ordered the other one today.

We like these a lot!Even if drilling a few extra holes to accommodate our Garant (TIFS600FF) wheelbarrows was required... These metal ones are well worth it compared to the original wood handles which dried out in one season of landscaping :-/
