Great book for christian and people who want to get closer to the word of God .

This book is brilliant on many levels, and I would recommend Christian women read it even if they haven't been called to be a teacher. As a teacher of women, it will remind you of your responsibility to rightly divide the Word of truth, and as a student it will encourage you to be discerning of the biblical integrity of the teaching you're sitting under. I highly recommend JW's podcasts too.

Love this books simple illustrations and approach to studying scripture. Highly recommend to anyone looking to learn and read their Bible. Helps get rid of weird misconceptions about study techniques.

One of the best books I have read in a long time! Don’t be distracted by the title, I think this is such a powerful book for both men and women. Opens up a way of reading the bible that is simple, and yet with such depth. Since starting to follow her step by step methods, such revelation of the word of God has followed! Amazing! Plus her writing style and tone is a joy to read, such authenticity, wisdom and humour. If you think you struggle to read the bible, even more reason to read this!

Although it may sound basic here and there this book is actually clearly intended to be a great help at digging for a solid foundation. Jen Wilkin is clearly a gifted teacher who repeats for emphasis and with the need of building a whole picture in the readers' minds. Being a Christian for long I have often neglected important aspects of Bible study.. to my own detriment. Read this book and answer the questions the author poses to you. There are lots of takeaways.

Excellent book for equipping women to read the Bible. Very down to earth and accessible to all readers regardless of age/stage of faith, yet makes some hard hitting points that get you thinking!
