This little guy is adorable and great quality. It’s mostly metal so though it’s tiny it has a decent weight to it. The craftsmanship and details are amazing- the etched metal patterns, the pink swirled paint texture, the diamond pattern, the ornate curved pedestal feet, the little carriage- it’s all really interesting and beautiful. A lot of people I show it to spend a long time appreciating the fun details up close.The egg closes via a magnet and the little carriage attaches via a magnet as well. The magnets seem sufficient and the egg doesn’t accidentally open and the carriage stays in place- though it can be removed.The interior of the lid has a glossy orange coat which I think is fun and interesting in contrast to the pink.

This is a beautiful trinket box! It is really amazing and styled after the classic Faberge Eggs favored by the royal families of Europe. Most of those are in collections and museums. This Egg is fabulous with hand painted details that are wonderful and intricate. The Egg opens in the middle with a hinge in the back and has a magnetic closure. The Royal Carriage is so neat! It sits on a gold disc that is magnetic and the carriage jumps right on it when you get it close. It is a lovely bonus and makes a perfect surprise for when you open it up. The inside of the top is a rich golden orange. It is made of Zinc Alloy and its heavy for its size. It is very substantial and feels great in your hand. It comes wrapped up in a very classy gold gift box.

I ordered this for myself because of my dream of owning an authentic gem crusted egg someday. This egg doesn’t contain any authentic gems or precious metals. It is made with attention to detail and looks spectacular. The egg opens up to reveal a little pink carriage inside that you can remove. For the price, this was a bargain. I am very satisfied with this decorative egg.

I have to say, when I opened this box to examine this “Faberge Egg” I was so impressed by the quality workmanship, the intricate design, and the beauty of how everything came together. I shined a light on the egg and all the rhinestones just sparkled, wow!I like how the carriage inside the egg is fixed magnetically in place, yet you can still pick it up and play with it. Everything is made of metal and there is a definite feeling of weight and “heft” to the egg. The only part that might be a little “off” is that when the egg is opened, the weight of the top half makes it easy to topple the egg.With such a reasonable price, it will be easy to build a beautiful collection of the many different styles available.

I grew up obsessed with Faberge eggs. To me, they were *the* symbol that you were wealthy. I mean, you definitely had throw away money if you were dropping that kind of cash on decorative eggs. Maybe it was because I grew up in the 80s when everything was over the top and gaudy, I don’t know, but I always wanted one…what I didn’t want was to drop that kind of cash though. So this adorable Faberge style egg is the best of both worlds! My childhood dream comes true without my wallet flatlining. This egg is adorable first off. The colors are vibrant, the gold is brilliant. The design itself is such a fairytale-esque design. You feel like you have a piece of a classic fairytale sitting on your shelf. I honestly see myself starting a collection of these I love this one so much.
