VERY EFFECTIVE PURCHASE (CHOOSE WHAT'S RIGHT FOR YOUR NEEDS)
Choose what's right for you !The essential element is ordering the correct strength for you needswhether it be perhaps watching TV or indeed reading, must admitthat having broken my reading glasses (expensive/optician) I neededglasses for reading/computer quickly so gave this way of solving theissue a go, did get it wrong, strength-wise at first, but with quickdelivery and at around just £2.20 a pair it wasn't a long-term problem.Have to say, I have now got a pair of glasses that are effective for myneeds, and with three spare, can't go wrong.

"Super-Budget" specs but don't let that put you off...I love mine.
I ordered a set of these about two years ago and have just purchased another box of four as they are so useful and I like to have a set strategically placed all around the place, bedside table, car, fishing rucksack, work, toilet (reading!)etc. They are only made of plastic and appear quite flimsy but what do you expect for £2 each and if you are careful with them they will last well enough; I have only purchased more as my work pair broke this week, the others are still going strong. The work ones get the most use and still lasted over two years (expenditure; £1 per year!) I only have experience of the +3.50 magnification but find these great for reading and doing intricate close up things....looking at my phone, tying fishing hooks on, viewing my tablet etc. The one thing I do not find them useful for is viewing my desk top computer, I tend to sit further back from the screen, probably too far away for these as they are really just for close up stuff.I tend to keep a pair balanced on top of my head at all times, I don't wear glasses normally, except for prescription reading glasses, which I use for the desk top, so these are fine for when I am doing things close up. They are comfy enough to wear for reasonable lengths of time and I have a pair balanced on my head for an 8 hour shift at work without any discomfort at all.One thing I notice with new pairs is that they initially may feel "not quite right" like one lens is higher than the other one and you need to move them about a bit until they feel balanced, for want of a better word, but once you've adjusted the fit they are fine.I did have an eye test about six months ago and I confessed to the optician that I mostly use £2 readers from Amazon, expecting him to berate me for this sin. He raised no objections and effectively said, well, if they work for you, fill your boots (crack on). They may not be everyone's cup of tea and when you pick them up you can tell they're singularly "budget" specs but if that doesn't bother you and you want to be able to have a pair all around the place then I'd say try them...at two quid a pop, you can't go wrong. As previously stated, I only have experience of the strongest magnification, which is a lot stronger than my prescription reading glasses, but I'd say get a slightly stronger pair than you think you need. I am super happy with this product and would be lost without them..hence 5 stars.

Wonderful -- good vision and easy to replace
These are fabulous, I now have a pair on every side table and desk in the house and office. There is even a pair in the tool box. They are only worn for a minute or two at a time, so not worried about the fashion aspect (though they look fine to me!). They work perfectly well in terms of vision, and I don't have to worry about losing them, or about damaging a pair. As reading glasses are on and off all the time, and sometimes stuffed into pockets or bags without adequate care, I found them much more susceptible to damage than ordinary glasses. These solve the problem. I still try to keep them in a case, but don't worry so much if I can't!

Strong smell!
Cheap and cheerful, do the job, tend to become loose over time and break, hence this, my second order.Strangely, these have got an unbelievably strong, strange chemical smell about them. They're awful! Fingers crossed it wears off soon.
