These are sturdy bars.

We installed the rails for indoor stairs going up and they were perfect. Easy to install and the rubber grips are great. Perfect for elderly users.

Two of these in the right places and my elderly, disabled (and ok, obese) mother can now use the restroom and shower herself. These are strong, anchor well, and feel sturdy. My mother has autonomy. Two grab bars made a huge difference in her quality of life. She even comments how the texture on them makes her feel even safer. Get them if you have someone, it's a few dollars and more of a difference than I had imagined.

The instructions were for a straight bar, not the angled bar. Would be best to warn people that due to the angle you have to be careful to not cover screw holes.

My husband has trouble stepping up, so we installed a couple of these near the bottom of our stairs, and one outside where there's one step down to our deck. They look nice (our doorknobs are oil-rubbed bronze), and the padded handles give extra comfort and security.

適切に取り付ければ、ちゃんと手すりとして機能します。・・・が、正直なところDIYの心得があって、この製品は素材として捉えて自分で何とかしてしまう方でないと、お金の無駄に。各部の精度が甘くて、カバーなんかは何だこれ状態。付属の樹脂プラグアンカーもあまり品質は良くありません。ネジはちゃんとしてて良いのにな。実際にタイル張りの在来浴室に取り付けてみましたが、取り付け用の型紙やガイドがある訳でもないので、穴の位置を決めるのに四苦八苦。コピー用紙やカレンダーの裏紙でも使って、位置ガイドを作った方が正確に取り付けられます。特に浴室で使うならラバーコーティングされた物、国内メーカー製にした方が安全性も高いです。

取り付け自体は基本的にネジでとめるだけなので比較的簡単です。ただ、体重を預けることのある商品なので下地に柱が通っている場所にしっかりと取り付ける必要があります。その辺の見極めが少々難しい部分です。商品自体は握りの太さも適切で強度も十分あるように思います。
