ETIHealthy living thermometer & hygrometer with comfort zone indication

This thermometer/hygrometer has now been sat on a shelf in my room for over a year. I look at it semi-regularly (especially when I feel slightly uncomfortable) and it has given me no reason to doubt its accuracy. I've not even needed to change the battery, which gives it full marks in reliability.The temperature display has 0.1 degree increments, and the humidity display 1% increments. This is more than adequate for any purpose I could think to use it for.The biggest niggle I have is that the arrow showing comfort levels points directly at one of the coloured bars. Green (top) is where it should be; yellow and red are too dry, cyan and blue are too wet. However it goes from being "perfect" to "too wet" with a single %age change rather than gradually, so it's hard to see the tendency at a glance (and it's not shown on the display). You therefore are forced to keep an eye on the actual number.Also, the "comfort" rating seems to be solely reliant on the humidity. 40-59% is comfortable, anything else is uncomfortable (and each of the bars is a 10% increment in humidity). It makes no distinction to the actual fact that the level of human discomfort is a factor of both temperature and humidity.That said, I'm at a risk of being too pedantic. The function of the meter is perfectly adequate, and the best indication of my comfort level is how I'm feeling anyway, regardless of what a meter tells me :-).In terms of quality and reliability, I have no issues at all. It therefore is deserving of the full five stars.

Purchased the thermometer and hydrometer device when I ordered a new dehumidifier. Found invaluable as I was able to measure the temperature and humidity of every room in the house and adjust for maximum comfort and energy saving. Am considering buying two more devices for key areas of the house.

Easy to use, clear display. I like the colours on the display. Batteries included. I bought it to monitor the temperature and humidity where my piano lives, in the lounge.Cannot comment on accuracy, because I don't have anything else to compare it with.Probably would have liked it more if it were a smidgey-bit cheaper....but, if it works, I'll be contented.

This is a "decent" product and much better than i originally thought it would be quality wise.It feels solid and "weighty" yes "weighty" to my surprise, i didn't expect this, i was expecting something more flimsy and lightweight, but this was "not" the case.It seems very accurate with my other temperature clocks within the flat, so i believe it's working fine.You will "definitely" be happy with this product, because I'm a very fussy person in truth and won't accept poorly made stuff.You will only find out this review is true when you receive it, that's all i can say.If you find what I've said here to be a lie, then simply ignore all my reviews, you would then be in your rights to do so, because i would do the very same.This picture makes it look like a flimsy cheap product, but it's "not" in reality when you receive it, trust me on this.Thank you Amazon. :)

I've bought 2 of these for myself previously, in 2016 and 2018, and I decided to get another for another room. Unfortunately the one I got recently always had the 'comfort indicator' pointing vertically (ie as if humidity was 50%), when the actual humidity was much less than that.SO, I returned that one and bought a replacement. This time I noticed that when I first put the batteries in the 'comfort indicator' was initially pointing in the approximate direction of the blue arrow in picture marked 3. BUT, it quickly moved to the vertical position again and has stayed there ever since.So I decided to take pictures to show the differences between the 3 that I had - the first shows all 3 hygrometers next to each other, and then I split that photo so that more detail could be seen for individual hygrometers.Anyway, it seems that apart from the visible changes to the buttons since I bought the first 2, there may have been other components changed as well, leading to the now inaccurate 'comfort indicator' reading.I'm returning this and will look for an alternative one :-/

Very clear display, except in poor light. Pretty accurate compared against other displays. Vertical line for comfort indicates 'optimum' conditions, and gives a good indication of when to turn on the dehumidifier. The air does seem much fresher to breathe when the indicator is in the comfort zone. The comfort indication will vary with temperature and relative humidity. It is suggested that above 60% and below 40% relative humidity, bacteria, viruses, fungi and respiratory infections will thrive more than at 50% relative humidity. If you do not need a clock, or automatic reset of max min, then this is a very good unit to choose.

It does what it says on the box. It shows the temp in either Centigrade or Fahrenheit, the humidity, and at the press of a switch shows min and max levels. The dial is bright and easy to read. What more can one ask ..... if that is what you want.Excellent value.

I have had half a dozen of these over several years.I use it to monitor the temperature / humidity of the house, knowing that washing is dry in the utility, or keeping an eye on the growing conditions of microveg.The min/max facility for both temperature and humidity is excellent.The only problem has been that the product breaks when it accidentally falls off a shelf onto a hard surface. Fortunately it is cheap enough to be disposable / replaceable.
