Why did you choose this product over others?:Great product and price works with the lights as our previous one blew has multiple settings and a timer which is efficient baby loves the lights highly recommend

No flicker and stays cool
I bought this as a replacement for one that came supplied with our newly bought pre-lighted Christmas tree - the tree was not bought from Amazon..!The tree is great and so are the lights. But after a short while there was a noticeable (and annoying) flicker on the lights. A quick google search suggested the transformer was cheap without voltage modulators included.I found this transformer on Amazon and thought it worth trying as it was relatively cheap. It looks identical to the transformer plug supplied with the tree (I checked the connections size and shape before ordering). Great news - plugged the tree lights cable into it, switched on, and no flicker..!The other thing I noticed is this plug does not get anywhere near as hot as the plug that came with the tree. An added safety bonus.Worked perfectly all over Christmas holiday.Very happy.
