Good, but now too expensive - has increased from £24 to £34 in just a few days!!
I took this to boost energy and stamina levels, which have plummeted over the past 3 years due to cancer-related major surgery. Ordinary Co q10 tablets didn't seem to be making much difference, possibly because I'm in my 50's and therefore not converting Ubiquinone to the reduced form Ubiquinol as effectively as younger. I don't know: I'm neither a medic or scientist. I do know that within a few days of taking them I did start to feel slightly more energised - some may attribute that to a placebo effect as I was seeking an energy boost. What I hadn't expected was a reduction in pain; I have a shoulder injury which wakes me at night with pain - a steroid injection had made an initial slight improvement which was wearing off. Within a week of taking the product I realised I could lie on my arm at night for a short time without pain. Within two weeks I was waking up lying on the arm, having not been woken with pain during sleep. By week 4 (last week) I could sleep on the arm as long as I liked, and was fairly sure I'd begun to experience a slight improvement in shoulder mobility. I was so impressed, last week I ordered a second bottle, to continue the trial and perhaps gain further improvement.I've just returned to order more, as I'm now pretty sure the reduction in pain isn't a coincidence, and the product therefore worth the expensive (to me) £24 per month - and found it's increased £10 to £34 in just a few days!! It may be something to do with the much trumpeted Brexit pound weakness, but sadly I cannot justify over £1 per tablet. There are two other well regarded brands of ubiquinol that I will try from next month, albeit with some reluctance. Perhaps the boost that I'm sure I've felt with this product can be replicated - time will tell.

Fountain of youth
This is the best supplement I have ever found and has so many benefits apart from an energy boost which is very noticeable. I actually wake up feeling refreshed and if I forget to reorder and miss it for a few weeks then start it again I can start to feel a difference

Good product, but like all Ubiquinol Q10, maybe a little expensive for some at high dosage in chronic disease.
*Please note I have edited this review, since being updated with new information*. (My original score was 3 stars, I have now altered this to 4 stars). In my original review, I was unaware of a (single) clinical study that showed blood plasma levels of Vesisorb Q10 were shown to be over 600% higher than 'oil based' Q10. In effect, although expensive vs generic Q10, it is thus arguable, that you obtain more Q10 for the price, and thus the price levels out. E.g one could postulate that 1 tablet of VESIsorb based Q10 is potentially equivalent of 6 tablets of generic Q10. This would have to be proven in repeat clinical trials though. As it stands, there is some evidence though, that the blood plasma effects of VESIsorb Q10 products, are impressive compared to 'standard' Q10'. On that basis, I changed my score in my review, and for a health beneficial reason I will discuss later.I bought this from another retailer at the same price. The tablets are dark coloured large 'soft' type capsules, not too long but certainly wide. They have no unpleasant taste and are easier to swallow than large 'dry' tablets. Those with dysphagia may struggle with any kind of tablet or capsule and I would recommend a Q-10 liquid based product, yet these are rare, still expensive and storage is hassle compared to these little pots which are convenient to store rather than a big bottle of liquid in the fridge. As for the positive health effects, I initially noticed a marginal beneficial difference after an extended period (months) of taking them, but that was taking 2 capsules per day (200mg), which meant one pot lasted me only 15 days.My main criticism, is over cost. For example, at the time of this edited review (November 2015), this product is £24.36 for 30 capsules at 100mg. In comparison Doctor's Best Ubiquinol 120 is £124 for 120 capsules at 200mg dosage. If we break that down to price 'per 100mg', the Igennus VESISorb remains at £23.36 and the Doctor's best product is £15.12. Both products contain KanekaQH Q10.I would recommend, at a minimum people with chronic health problems take 200mg a day, some take up to 800mg with neurological diseases that effect mitochondria on a cellular basis (such as Parkinson's disease, MS, ME, Lyme disease). To put that in context, for one months supply taking 200mg, this product would cost £48.72 a month (November 2015). For me personally, that is just too much to pay, however all manufacturers are charging a lot.Because of the cost, I initially had to stop taking it, which is shame as it's a good product, if not 'the best' just rather expensive, like all other quality ubiquinol supplements. After stopping taking it, I did, to my surprise, have a bit less stamina, to the level I noticed it despite not 'believing' it would make any difference, in effect a reverse placebo effect. A positive sign a supplement may well work on an individual basis perhaps.Eventually I came back to the product, because it works, and the Doctor's Best product (KanekaQH) for me, it just far too big to swallow, so this was the best option. At 200mg dose+ it might only 'work' (in terms of a sensation of less fatigue) for a minimal amount in those with severe chronic disease affecting mitochondria with no effective pharmaceutical drug treatment available, but I felt the effect was better than taking generic Q10 and better than none at all.I now take 400mg daily, so around £96 a month, or a little less if you buy from stores that offer a 'multi-buy' discount. Expensive, but what can you do? If it works, and it's safe, and it helps, then you have to try and fund it if you want a little bit more stamina if nothing else you have tried works. So I did.I would give it 5/5 as for me it's the best (Dr's Best KanekaQH is too big to swallow for me in 200mg size capsules), but due to overall cost, dropped it to 4 stars.

Really helps CFS/ME, Fibro & Brain Fog!! :D
So in desperation having had CFS/ME for two years now following the pandemic illness, I heard about this helping people with Chronic Fatigue and Brain Fog. To be honest I didn’t hold out much hope as I’d previously tried a well known high street brand version of CoQ10 which didn’t do anything. But I was desperate, and a few people in the reviews said it helped them with CFS/ME.So I bought it. The first thing upon taking it I noticed was that I didn’t feel like the walking dead all the time (that took probably 3 days?)I’ve now been taking it over a week, and I’m no longer needing an afternoon sleep every day! Or feeling like I call fall asleep stood next to a lamp post (but then can’t sleep!)My sleep has improved, and my Fibro is about 50% better. But the MAIN difference is that I feel like someone has recharged my batteries! Not fully, but a lot better than they were!I literally can’t recommend this product enough to you if you have CFS, Fibro or even are just exhausted.I’ve done a lot of research into CFS/ME and the latest thinking is that it’s a Mitochrondrial disease, which are the little energy ‘batteries’ in every cell in your body, basically they aren’t working properly hence the total exhaustion. If you look up mitochrondrial disease nhs the symptoms read pretty much exactly as CFS/ME and they recommend Ubiquionol for it!So this makes perfect sense.I can’t tell you how life changing this has been for me, for the first time I feel like I have hope of getting well again. Please try it (or buy it for someone you know who has CFS/ME, especially if they’ve given up hope) and get some life back!I’ve paid full price for this item, the seller doesn’t know me from Adam, but I am seriously happy to have found this!I hope this review helps someone. Here’s to getting well! :)
