Manic Panic High Voltage® Classic Cream Formula Colour Hair Dye 118ml (Atomic™ Turquoise)

Bought Manic Panic High Voltage Classic Cream (Atomic Turquoise) for my daughter, who treats her hair colour like a subscription service — new shade every month. The colour payoff is fantastic. Atomic Turquoise is vibrant, bold, and exactly the kind of “you’ll notice it from across the street” blue-green you’d hope for. It goes on smoothly and distributes evenly. What really impressed me is how well it lasts. Even with her washing her hair every single day (despite my ongoing water-saving campaign), the colour holds up far better than expected. It fades nicely rather than going patchy. It leaves hair feeling in good condition too — not dry or straw-like, which is always a concern with frequent colour changes. If you’re after a bright, statement colour that doesn’t disappear after a week, this is a great choice. Five stars. Bold, long-lasting, and apparently worth ignoring my water lectures for.

I bought this item after deciding I wanted to dye my hair for the first time. I had done some research and found Manic Panic to be a well recommended dye. I was reluctant to bleach my hair and in the end decided not too. I have a naturally darkish blonde hair colour and decided to just give it a try without bleaching. I was incredibly impressed, the colour did come out darker than the picture of the swath of hair shows but that's what I expected. The colour was brilliant! It's also really easy to do yourself and I managed to do it easily having never dyed my hair before. YouTube and the Manic Panic website have great tutorials if needed! It was about 3/4 weeks before I had to reapply to keep the colour which I was more than happy to do as it doesn't damage the hair. As it fades, it fades to a lovely light blue/green colour. I am more than happy with the product and am waiting for the colour to fade before ordering a new one. The dye came in great time and the pot had enough for me to dip dye my waist length hair over half way up three times (with there still being some left). I would recommend it to anyone.

Colours I used so far: - Electric Banana and Electric Lizard as ombre. - Atomic Turquoise, mixed with After Midnight into ombre with Electric Lizard. I like these, they're easy to use and mix easy with each other to create different colour shades. Only thing I had issue with is the Electric Banana, it has a slight green tint to it and I doubt it was due to me using Electric Lizard to ombre with, the colour itself went on the hair slightly greener than expected. It is my understanding however that yellows are not easy colours to obtain, as they take on tints of colours already in the hair. Both colours are literally like highlighter green and yellow, which is why I ended up doing blue into green ombre, I need some darkness with my lime greens. As you can see the blue had issue in my root area to cover the green, as it was peaking through, however I believe its because I washed my hair the jight before and let my hair dry overnight, so best done when hair is freshly washed and dried with a hairdryer. These go on best on dry hair for the colour pay off.

A very good product for hair styling hair dye

It's beautiful, vivid and bright. I absolutely love it! It does rub off on everything so if you've got any bedding that you don't want to discolour with turquoise hair dye, make sure you cover it with a towel before bed, but that happens with most dyes anyway. Same goes for white beanies/hats or white headbands/headdresses. (Already kinda ruined my white bandanna but i'm sure after a few more washes this won't be much of a problem in the future) Make sure before purchasing that you have or are intending to bleach your hair to a VERY light blonde with no orange-ish colour, the lighter the better, as this colour will appear green not turquoise if you have a brassy orange tint to your blonde hair. Other then that, enjoy this wonderful colour dye! If like me you have some left over, save it and when the colour begins to fade; mix it with conditioner when you shower/bathe to brighten it up again..

Used this dye on brunette hair of a light-medium brunette shade. Required the whole pot to fully coat the fine, curly hair (which measures about 75cm long all over - no fringe - if straightened). The colour was initially good. Washed the hair with a colour protecting shampoo but even so the blue tones were fading within a week leaving the green tones behind. Colour faded entirely within 10 washes.

It faded in less than 48 hours without washing.

Easy to use. Nice colour

Il prodotto è estremamente pigmentato, quindi ne basta pochissimo per ottenere un buon risultato. Io consiglio di non esagerare con la quantità, perché aggiungere più colore non lo rende più intenso, ma tende solo a sporcare pelle e vestiti durante i lavaggi e quando si suda. Meglio mescolarlo con una maschera idratante (piuttosto che solo balsamo) per distribuirlo meglio e ottenere una sfumatura più uniforme. Va applicato con moderazione e su capelli ben preparati, soprattutto se decolorati. Nel complesso il colore è bello, ma va usato con criterio per evitare eccessi e risultati poco puliti.

As you can see from the image, my hair is mid length. I have grown out my roots and just the bottom half is bleached. This product is by far my favorite. The formula not only gives me good coverage but it doesn’t stain me the same way other products do. It will also not transfer to your pillow! The jar has enough product to color my hair twice and lasts about a month and a half before I have to add more color. This despite the fact I wash my hair with hot water three times a week!

Colour is nice but item was 4 months past use by date

No entiendo las malas reseñas, la verdad que hay que tener un poco de sentido común antes de escribir cualquier opinión! Obviamente tienes que tener el pelo decolorado si quieres obtener el color que compras, a no ser que tengas el pelo rubio platino por naturaleza! He teñido de varios colores con esta marca, y siempre he obtenido unos colores vivos, que duran muchísimo y no destiñen nada. Obviamente tienes que matizar como con cualquier tinte y aclarar con agua fría, varias veces si hace falta ya con champú + acondicionador adecuados para el cabello teñido! Y por último: Obviamente tienes que tener un poco de experiencia si vas a teñirte tú mismo/a y respetar los tiempos de aplicación (ya sea de decoloración o el tinte en sí) y tener algo de paciencia para que el cabello se recupere un poco después de cada deco, ya que es sumamente importante que no se queme el pelo y no quede porroso, sino cualquier color que le pongas encima no va a agarrar como se quisiera. Yo estoy enamorada de esta marca. Los colores fantasía duran un montón y son muy llamativos y preciosos! Justo hoy me puse el Silver Stiletto y cómo siempre, no me ha defraudado. De hecho compraré otro bote desde ya! 😍

compared to previous manic panic shades i tried which washed out in 3 days and stained everything, this one is really good. it doesn't stain my pillows, lasted about 3-4 weeks and washed out well enough to be a really light minty-silver color, i was able to add other colors later comfortably.
