arrived in the packaging but when opened it was snapped in half. not worth returning for the cost but does the job i want it for .

Used for my trusty billhook. Very portable and efficient. Brilliant for half hourly fine honing while on the job, as it were. Arrived promptly and in good order.

Very useful sharpening garden tools ,robust design good price.

Arrived broken in half, I was kind of expecting it having read the reviews. A box with a bit of paper filling instead of the thin flat package woul have prevented it. Anyway, i need to sharpen some garden tools and I think I will be able to do it anyway.I have not tested it it yet, but it is quite corse.I was not expecting much more because of the price: a cheap sharpening stone that will be probably do a fair job in sharpening rough gardening tools even if it is broken in half.

For the price, this is a nice sharpener amd very easy to use. It's carborundum so you might not get a razor edged blade, but for quick and dirty sharpening. It's great for garden tools, etc but I also use it to put an edge on kitchen knives, especially if they're not of great quality, but can still cut well if reasonably sharp. Nice product for the money.

So this review has been delayed for ages, i bought this product back in 2014, and almost 10 years on I can say with certainty thar this is among the worst sharpening stones i have bought in my time

I purchased a knife sharpener that didn’t get my knifes as sharpe as I would have liked. Saw the sharpening oval ( for gardening tools ) and decided to give it a try. Very happy now all of my knife are now very sharp. Make slicing, dicing and filleting really easy. For £2.38 well worth it. Even my dullest knife only took a few minutes to develop a nice clean sharp edge. Use the same way you would use a knife steel on most knifes. On knifes that are very blunt use firstly like a file then back to like a steel. Would definitely recommend to anyone who appreciate a sharp kind in the kitchen

Jedna * tylko dlatego że nie można wstawić zero gwiazdek. Osełka przyszła pęknięta na dwie części jest nic nie warta szkoda jednak tych 1,5$. Towar był zapakowany tragicznie powtarzam tragicznie w samą kopertę tak można pakować kawałki blachy a nie kruchą osełkę. Nie polecam absolutnie choć to wina Amazona za tragiczne pakowanie a nie producenta. Jeszcze raz odradzam zakup że względu na pakowanie towaru, kto tam pracuje.

Für den Preis mache ich mir die Mühe des Zurückschickens nicht.Doof ist es dennoch.Davon abgesehen war alles gut, also Körnung, Lieferung etc.Wäre der Schleifstein auch noch ganz gewesen, hätte es ganze vier Sterne mehr gegeben.
