HOO BOY!
The soundtrack of Persona 5 is what defines the game. An absolutely stunning fusion of acid jazz and rock tracks that are so addictive, that it would even make Sojiro go, "Hoo boy!".Never before have I ever felt the need to pause the game just to appreciate the soundtrack, so I would consider this to be one of the rare traits of Persona 5 that sets it apart from other games in the genre. Best songs are: "Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There", "Rivers in the Desert", "Life will Change", "Tokyo Daylight", "Last Surprise", "Price", "The Days When My Mother Was There", "The Whims of Fate", "Blooming Villain", "Beneath the Mask", and "With the Stars and Us".Most of the ingame soundtracks are included in this disc-set to my knowledge. Furthermore, in the game all the soundtracks loop after a short while, so it should be noted that the soundtracks for the disc version do not loop but fade out towards the end.Other than that, serious props to Shoji Meguro and his sound team for giving us this masterpiece! As regards to the high price for this soundtrack collection, it should be noted that JRPGs and their soundtracks are a niche genre in the West, so the import charges can get a bit costly. But with 110 songs in this disc-set, the price comes to approximately £0.52 per song, so I would argue that £57 is an absolute bargain at current prices while stocks still last!PS: That one star bandit in the reviews needs a change of heart.

Comprehensive 3CD collection
Three discs in lovely presentation sleeve. Great quality. All the tracks you know and love from P5.Doesn't include any tracks from Persona 5 Royal or Strikers. But with 108 tracks you'll have over three hours of amazing music from Atlus's most successful Persona to date. Must buy for Persona fans and audiophiles.

Persona 5 Soundtrack
One of the best game soundtracks to be released. You will never get tired of listening to these pieces. Sure, £60 is pricey but we all know how expensive Japanese merchandise / stuff can get over here in England with imports charges etc. But for the price this is definitely worth it with 3 discs full of amazing music and awesome presentation to. Even the box and discs look amazing with the red / black / white theme running through out. I'm a very happy collector.

A Great New Persona Score
The Persona series has long been known for its unusual yet excellent music thanks largely to their composer Shoji Meguro. Persona 5 continues that tradition with a hyper aggressive and thrilling set of tunes that will have you humming loudly to yourself in public while all your friends look embarrassed and try to subtly catch your attention (source: personal experience). The music is a combination of JPop (in English naturally) and acid jazz, a musical style which I've never heard of but which is definitely suitable for the score. The real highlights are the songs, which all seem similar in style but not in tone or content. Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There is the opening song and it's an exciting enthusiastic journey full of rebelliousness and intensity. I've seen the animation that goes with this and it's appropriately mad, with our leads skating down the highways and overpasses. I love it. Life Will Change has a very similar tune to the opening song (I can't really tell them apart if I only hear a snippet), but it's more straight action than any sort of tone-setting. I think it's most likely used as battle music. Last Surprise is similar but has a more cheery tune. Beneath the Mask is a rather suspicious and sleazy sounding song that seems to be used to play up the untrustworthyness of our leads. It makes me think of snakes slithering and the lyrics are all about shapeshifters and masks. Rivers in the Desert is the final song and it's absolutely wonderful. There's a continual beat in the background that makes the music very intense and feels like it's on a countdown. There's a wonderful violin cue that just sounds like everything's falling apart. It's great. All of these songs come in versions with and without lyrics. The instrumental tracks are great as well. There are over 100 tracks so I can't break them all down here, but most of them are memorable. Awakening, Tokyo Daylight, and Collapse of Arrogance are among my favorites. That's not to say I like all of the music. That would be too much to ask. There are a sequence of arcade game scores (complete with electronic music) starting with Star Forneus. They obviously serve a purpose in the game, but I don't particularly want to listen to them in my spare time. But in general, the music is great and I'm sure it will fit the game perfectly. It's hard not to be wowed by this.

Great, though for me, only in it for 3 tracks
OK, I bought the whole thing for 3 tracks hahaI have played up to completing the first palace and got a little bored and could see a pattern I didn't find engaging emerging.HOWEVER, the music (since this is a soundtrack review) is really good. Jazzy, upbeat, sneaky etc. etc. Well done and some good tracks but like I said, I bought this for "Wake Up, Get Up, Get out there," "Last Suprise" and "Life will change" but I do play them all the time!
