Draper 11534 Hydraulic Brake Hose Clamp , Blue

I have used these for decades and they are a simple design and just work very well, no faffing about, just clamp and clip, you’re done. Ideal tool for flexi hoses but not steel reinforced braided performance ones. Highly recommended

This is not a reflection on the seller but this product is useless for its intended purpose.I am disappointed in Draper because I use quite a few of their tools and they are a decent quality, this however is poor quality, you can tell as soon as you pick it up and then when you attempt to use it it doesn’t work. It doesn’t clamp off the hose fully so fluid still leaks out.I am disappointed that I wasted my money on this item

A great little tool for saving time and labour when working on hydraulic brake systems.The operating system of the tool is so simple; open the tool place the brake pipe between the arms and close until the retaining clip will hold, when finished reconnect the brake pipe and release the clip on the tool.One suggestion tape the clip in position to prevent accidental opening.Overall assessment:- All budding car mechanics should have one in their toolbox.

These pliers don't seem to close up enough to be of any use. They are quite small. I don't think they will be of much use to clamp off brake lines.

needed one of these to clamp the brake hose on my car, this item worked perfectly with no damage to the hose, i would highly recommend the use of this piece of equipment if you need to clamp your brake hoses on car/ motorcyle etc, invaluable piece of equipment in my mind, happy to recommend this item and the seller.

It does slow the seepage to a manageable working rate without crushing the brake hose.
