Fire up the missus with this hand held juicer!
Smashed lemons like anything. Juices flowed. Pips flew away. Fun was had.

Great for quickly juicing fruit
I have an all singing and dancing fruit juicer machine but if I just want the juice from one orange, lemon, grapefruit or lime it really doesn't seem worth pulling it out of the cupboard, setting it up and then all the cleaning involved afterwards. That is where this little beauty really comes into its own. This wooden device is small enough to store in a kitchen drawer along with your rolling pin and other utensils. The handle is comfortable to hold and it is extremely easy to use. Simply slice a citrus fruit in half, push the point of this tool into the centre of the fruit and then rotate it until you have extracted all of the juice. This seems to extract a lot more juice than the glass or plastic devices that you sit on your counter and then place the fruit on top of. I've used both types and this definitely leaves less material inside the fruit. It is easy to clean so long as you wash it up straight away. I have found that if I leave it then the pulp from the fruit dries into the grooves and it can be a pain to remove it. I don't put mine in the dishwasher as I have had wooden items split down the grain in the past after going through a few cycles.Overall, a great little tool which is a useful addition to any kitchen

Good quality
This is not my first wooden citrus reamer, first time I have ever used it to ream lime I'd really loved it and still do. It is easier to ream with this wooden one then with any other I have used in the past, is light, small so can be taken anywhere. the first one lasted for few good years and still can be used but it is not so sharp on the top so need used now bit more strength but the new one is absolutely good and I do prefer to use them.

Wish I'd bought this sooner
Great item. Really squeezes all of the juice out of lemons, oranges, limes etc.I have used it every day since I received it and I have even made my very first glass of freshly squeezed orange juice, which was very satisfying!

Adequate rather than perfect
I previously had a Victorian glass lemon squeeezer which was lost or broken in a house move some years ago. As I did not often need to extract the juice from citrus fruits, I had been using a large fork as an alternative, but it was never completely adequate. I eventually opted for one of these because it was inexpensive and I had seen similar tools used on TV.I don't know if this is any different but whilst it can extract juice from the fruits, it tends to remove some pulp with the juice. Provided the fruit is squeezed into a small sieve, the pulp can be worked with a fork or spoon to remove the remaining juice. It might work better if it were bulkier, Otherwise, it does what is needed of it.So far, it has survived several washes in warm water.

Simple is best
I like my kitchen gadgets but sometimes simple is best. This is quick, easy to use, easy to clean and does a great job.If it had a plug and a shiny exterior, it would probably get 5* reviews at 10x the price!

Very good
Very well made and light weight. No cracks, very smooth finish. Bought to give electric juicer a break. So far no disappointments.

Great product
This is a great easy to use product. I prefer this to the traditional lemon squeezer, as all the lemon juice goes directly into the cup or bowl that you are using; it's also small enough to be stored in the cutlery drawer and super easy to wash!
