I always use a 'proper' ostrich feather duster, I had a great one that I'd had for a while but over time the feathers were coming out so I thought time to get a new one...went for the KitchenCraft one as firstly I thought it was a good brand, secondly the extension would be useful for my conservatory roof. Well I was SO disappointed with what arrived!! It really is the most tiny feather duster head I have ever seen and also little bits of feather come off and get stuck to the ceiling and other areas, NEVER happened with my other feather duster!! I ended up vacuuming the bits of feather off the ceiling etc TBH this feather duster is a total waste of money, oh and the extension part is so flimsy!! Looks so cheaply made a real disappointing purchase from KitchenCraft

Great for cleaning around the house in those delicate bits. Also great for pointing the other half in the direction of the kettle.

I bought this because of the long lightweight handle. The feathers are disappointingly ungenerous.It does reach high places, but because the amount of actual dusting feathers are so mean, the wooden collar scrapes on what you are cleaning as well.I have another feather duster, the Australian one, that doesn’t reach as high but has a fabulous genuine feather head. Apart from the slightly shorter reach, I find that one by far the superior dusting product.

Pretty disappointed with this. The feathered head is absolutely tiny - the right size to clean a doll's house. It's also really difficult to extend and retract the handle. AND it moults. However, it's OK and does the job and returning is too much of a hassle.

Brilliant product! It’s my second one I’ve had (dogs attacked the first). The pole extends to an excellent length meaning I have no problems reaching the high ceilings in our staircase. Very soft and fluffy which makes it great for catching dust. To clean I try to “bash” against the wall to remove loose dust particles and then light spritz with water to freshen up so as not to clog the feathers together.

Only gave 3/5 as first time used 2 large feathers fell out and couldn't push them back in. I also expected a larger head of feathers; not as bushy as I expected but it does the job okay and the long adjustable handle is excellent as it reaches into the highest corners. If it had a few more feathers it would be a 5/5

They are much better than the other ones no statick sorry about spelling

This really removes the dust and is excellent for reaching high places, or dusting the skirting boards without bending. However, beware if you have cats - they love to chase it as you go around the house.If you want to dust ornaments on a shelf, then consider one with a shorter handle.
