Apllicator came with lumps clogged in there and isn't working to pick up the serum. Not sure if the serum itself is supposed to be so thick and cloggy but will have to pour it into hand and apply.

Since Oz's Retinol serum is one of the best retinol's I have ever used, I immediately ordered this new AHA version. As a bit of backstory, my skin is combo leaning to dry and prone to breakouts (although Oz's retinol put a stop to much of that). Over the years I've tried a number of AHA products as it is frequently recommended for anti-aging. Out of all of the different acids in skincare, for some reason, AHA's are the least tolerated by my skin. Other than redness and inflammation, I never saw any actual results from AHA's. It is worth noting I have zero lines so maybe they did do something but the side effects were always to the point where I would have to discontinue using the product.Thankfully this has not been the case with OZ Naturals' Vitamin C Serum + AHA serum. My skin started to almost immediately look less congested and more evenly toned. The serum itself also seems to have a firming benefit to it which makes me love using it in the mornings. It plays nicely under my makeup and so far has not caused any negative side effects or irritation. The serum itself is a gel formula on the thicker side and clear. I appreciate the latter as I feel this shows the vitamin C is still active (unlike when it becomes yellowed and oxidized) and the serum is fresh. Patting it into my skin each morning, it sinks in quickly without a sticky film.I'm also very pleased that they put vitamin E in this serum as I recently read some interesting studies on how only C mixed with E had a positive effect on UV damage. My other C serums were lacking this which shows how ahead of the curve OZ is.I will definitely be looking into OZ's offerings in this new line.

I love taking care of my skin and using products that help my skin look and feel youthful is important to me. This is a good product to use to keep your skin soft and supple. Here are some of the reasons why I like this product.1. It has Vitamins C and E which are great for nourishing the skin so that your skin looks radiant.2. It has Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) which helps with reducing the appearance fine lines and wrinkles.3. It comes in a 1 fl oz bottle with a dropper so that you are able to control how much to use. As stated on the directions on the bottle, I place on my face, neck, and chest. We always seem to forget about taking care of our neck and chest area and it so important to include these areas along with your facial area.4. It has a light citrus (orange) scent. I am a person who loves scent and this serum has a very light citrus scent.5. It absorbs nicely in my skin. It does not leave a greasy look or feel on my skin.6. It is a little thick so a little goes a long way. I use in the morning after I cleanse my skin and tone it.7. Can be used under your makeup.8. Is great for all skin types. I have combination skin and it doesn't add any more oil to my skin. It gives my skin a very healthy glow which I love!9. Cold-pressed ingredients which means your skin reaps the benefits of the ingredients in their purest form.Overall I feel that this is a great product to add to your facial regimen to help keep your skin looking and feeling good. My skin looks brighter and feels softer.

I wish this facial Vitamin C serum was available during my younger years, and if it was offered at that time, my skin would be in much better condition. I’m a believer in the power of Vitamin C facials serums, having suffered from skin-cell damage from the UV rays of the sun. Therefore, nothing makes a believer faster in the power of Vitamin C facial serums, than someone who has suffered UV sun damage, such as me.I am a child of the 1950’s, back when the UV damage from the sun was an unknown issue. Since skin damage from the sun was an unidentified factor, no one used any skin-care protection. Therefore, ‘sun-screen protection’ was unknown and unheard of until the late 1970’s and/or 1980’s, and the first ones on the market did not offer the same excellent protection than the current ones of today. In addition, other skin-care products and skin-care protection were NOT available when I was younger. Our skin care regime consisted of cleansing; a moisturizer, and then we applied our cosmetic make-up.By the time the first ‘sun-block’ was first introduced to the public I was already in my ‘thirties’. Unfortunately, the harmful sun UV effects were starting down deep in my skin cells, although this damage was not apparent at the time. However, the damage showed up later, and in my late fifties the sun spot discoloration started, which ruined my skin color and complexion.In my early sixties, the finer lines and wrinkles, did not bother me as much as the ‘sun-spot’ freckles, blotches and discoloration from the damaged skin-cells, which were obvious and ugly. I try to keep up with the latest technology and if I think there has been a new scientific development, I will upgrade my skin-care products accordingly.This Vitamin C Serum with the additional AHA is a new skin-care product for me and I’ve now been using this serum for a little over 6 weeks.A noticeable difference from my previous Vitamin C serum is the thicker consistency. The serum still pools up in the palm of my hand, but it does not flow though my fingers like water. It is a clear thin liquid, with a slightly denser consistency than water, which actually spreads better and easier across my face and down my neck. In addition, I like the very mild earthy scent which is only perceptible when I sniff the open bottle. The serum dries very fast, I do NOT notice any tingling, tightening, or register any feeling at all, and I love that it does NOT leave a sticky residue.Due to my advanced age in the mid/late sixties, I do not have any unrealistic expectations. However after using twice a day, both mornings and evenings – my complexion really is a little brighter. Right after the CO2 treatment my skin looked amazing, however as previously warned, after a few years some spots started resurfacing. No way was I going through this painful CO2 treatment again. However, after consistent usage, this serum is diminishing these spots and the lighter ones are again disappearing. Furthermore, as an extra and unexpected pleasant realization, those very fine webbing lines in my cheeks are no longer as prominent, my skin texture has smoothed out in those areas.I had switched to this Vitamin C face serum for two main reasons. The ‘cold processing’ procedure is an advancement for manufacturing skin-products, and my other reason was the additional AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) / Glycolic Acid. These additions are better for my damaged skin cells along with my aging skin condition.Cold Processing Technology:Cold processed skin products help to preserve the integrity of organic materials. The three components that destroy and disintegrate organic matter are heat, light, and air. These are the main reasons for the necessity of a refrigerator which naturally preserves the quality of our food, a cool place that’s dark and somewhat airtight.Alpha Hydroxy Acid:The AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids), which is the glycolic acid, is an excellent supplement for improving my personal skin condition. The AHA serves the purpose to penetrate the dead surface cells and loosen the molecular bonds that naturally attach them to the underlying tissues. When these loose cells slough off, the newer and healthier exposed skin rises to the top. Therefore, this is a constant mild exfoliation and will increase my collagen production that has sadly declined with my older age.As a final note or warning, AHA – which is similar to any retinol product will raise UV sensitivity. Therefore it will cause faster sun burning and irritation. Consequently, it is absolutely essential to use an excellent sunscreen for protection against the sun’s harmful UV rays.Personally I try to avoid the sun, however, I live in the southwest desert and the sun is strong and intense. I wear a 30 SPF sunscreen, along with large oversized sunglasses. In the event that I have my grandchildren over and they want to play outside, I wear one of my large brim straw hats that are useful at the beach. By utilizing all this protection, I have not had any issues with sun sensitivity during the scorching hot July and August months. This is the hottest time of summer when the temperature remains in the 3-digit figures.

This vitamin C serum from Oz Naturals is my favorite so far. I've used 4-5 vitamin C serum from other natural brands available on Amazon and this is the 1st on I've repurchased and will continue to purchase.The packaging is quality. It comes in a glass bottle with a glass dropper to dispense the product.The serum itself is a thick, creamy consistency which is nice because the product doesn't run through you fingers like other watery products I've used. The color is a cloudy clear, that's the best I can come up with. It is fragrance free. Not only does it not have a fragrance, it also does not have an odor. It does not smell like oranges.In regards to usage, it glides on the skin smoothly and absorbs quickly. Once I apply it, by the time I get my lotion out and am ready to apply my lotion the serum is absorbed.Results, honestly it's hard to say. There's not an obvious difference with one use. I can't say there's an obvious before and after type result with even a week or 2. What I can say is that I feel like the skin on my face is smoother and more radiant and glowy since I began using THIS vitamin C serum, while having used various vitamin C serums prior to that for years. I think the biggest benefits are to be seen in the long term and I use this product for the purpose of prevention of aging. So it's impossible to compare what the results are in the long run compared to not using the product because I have used the product and will continue to use this vitamin C serum.
