Blue Grass

Beautiful old school fragrance but don't let old school mislead you..its a clever blend of floral and fresh and has a lovely boho, retro vibe. Lasts well and gets better and better as it warms and develops on the skin. I've grown up with it so I may be biased.

Ordered for family member who loves this scent. She's happy and not hassling me to order it, so I'm happy. Everyone's a winner

We bought this for my elderly mum-in-law who is now suffering severely with dementia but who really loved this fragrance many years ago. She's in residential care and the staff agreed to give her a dab or two each day. I have to admit that I never knew it was her scent of choice, but realised immediately that it was familiar when we helped her put some on. It's not quite in the realm of the old classics such as Chanel No.5, in my opinion, but even identical perfumes work differently on different skin types, and No.5 happens to suit my wife particularly well. Blue Grass does the same thing for my dear mum-in-law, it sits just right with her and feels very familiar. If anything I think its longevity makes it a bona fide classic, in that it obviously stays popular with time, and is probably always worth trying on. It's very gentle floral character makes it a generally useful perfume, although I'd think for parties and gatherings it might get lost a little, but for everyday "wear" I reckon it'd work very well since it isn't making a brash statement so much as a sense of presence. For a perfume at such a reasonable price (even a stunning price in an Amazon deal) it really is worth checking out. If anything, the super-low prices could lead us to think that it is "cheap perfume", but it is a lot more than that. For my mum-in-law we're hopeful that it will help bring a sense of continuity and familiarity to her confusing world, and she certainly needs all the help she can get in that regard. For anyone else I'd say that it is worth investigating because it can be extremely subtle to the point where it isn't obviously a perfume, if you're into "subtle", at least! It may never get a celebrity endorsement or whatever, but that can be a good thing, especially if you're confident in who you are.

Blast from the past. Smells wonderful. Long lasting fragrance. 100ml bottle. Bargain price.

Not for me unfortunately. I'm a huge fan of Elizabeth Arden and I wanted to give this a try as it's one of the most well known. I'm a fan of the green tea perfumes, red door etc. perfume is very subjective as it's really down to personal preference - there's no right or wrong. I shall pass this on as I've no doubt someone else will appreciate it more than me! I couldn't really decide what it smelled of but it seemed quite heady and heavy.

5 stars directly. Price/quality is very good, same level with Youth Dew but something else. Little sweet, very feminine, last few hours with good silage. Don't spray too much. Box and bottle is not very attractive, old style here, but who cares when you smell good. On the other side, don't expect Shalimar or No.5 but think about price difference. Try, it cost you only 15-17€. Fast and safe delivery.

Elizabeth Arden Blue Grass Spray Perfume initially sprayed on smells like baby powder. As the day goes on it becomes a light floral scent which is very pleasing.

With all the positive reviews, I was so disappointed. Not a nice smell. Its combination of old lady and toilet spray.

Aucun problème de commande, le colis est arrivé en bon état mais je n'aime pas l'odeur en note de tête. Cela fait penser aux parfums portés par des dames du 4ème âge, , il en me convient pas du tout, je n'aime pas l'odeur. La note de coeur est plus supportable mais ça fait daté, pas du tout moderne. Cela fait penser aux parfums à 5€ qu'on achète en hard discount. J'ai fini par l'offrir.
