I bought a pair of these to stop my boys getting filthy going to school and after a bit of butchery fitted them to their bikes.I cut them shorter with scissors which was easy, and changed or shortened the fasteners as they are too long.Whatever I bought was going to need modification. These were easy to do.

By mistake I purchased both the front and rear guards, although it was not possible to fit the front. The rear was easy to fit although it is extremely flimsy. On the road bike this is more than satisfactory, but I doubt it would be satisfactory when fitted to an off-road bike.All in all it is satisfactory for me. Fitting was easy and I have no complaints.

Yes they are cheap but I like the cool shape of them. There is a double hinge on one (the rear) which is helpful for positioning. The hinges are not particularily solid and as are tightened by hand you should really check them before each ride, but then you should be doing checks anyway. Like I said they are cheap so they will probably get bent out of shape of snap with enough impact but I got these because they are cheap and look good.I'm happy enough with them and if they break I don't really care. If the hinges were a little more solid I would give them 5 stars.

Works well on my sons bike

I got what I paid for, a cheap flimsy plastic that flaps about, knocks against the frame when going over a bump no bigger then a grain of sand. There's no instructions so had to look at the photos on Amazon to check which way round the front guard goes, that also has a stupidly long bolt that juts miles out the front of the suspension mount which is not necessary. The rear guard attaches on the saddle post with a bolt with 2 nuts on either side, the bracket gives up 1-2mm of clearance to do the nuts up, I had to use 2 sets of fine needle nose pliers to do them up as no socket wrench or normal tool will fit in that small space. It took me nearly 10mins of fiddling to does these up.

Purchased for my son's mountain bike (9 years old) so he could get out in the winter weather. Very easy to install and he was off cycling within 30 mins. They seems to be of good build quality and will hopefully serve him well.

It's half the price of the kits you get in a regular bike shop, and - surprise! - also half the quality: it's very poorly finished and a bit bent out of shape from poor manufacturing. Buy this if your other option is a DYI mudguard made of coca cola pet bottles.

I'll be honest here, this isn't the best mudguard available, and with hindsight i will probably buy a more expensive one in the future. It worked; until it got knocked and the joint on the rear guard snapped. I does still work after I repaired it (with duct tape). I can't comment on the front guard because I've taken to using a different one that I bought in a physical store ( So I can't give a link ).

Das Schutzblech ist wirklich aus einem schlechten Plastik hergestellt. Die Kanten sind scharf und kratzig, hier wurde nichts nachgearbeitet.Stabil scheint es zu sein, die Schrauben und Muttern sind allerdings vom Plastik ummantelt, wenn man hier die Schraube einmal zu fest anzieht oder mehrmals öffnen muss, dann wird die Plastikmutter ausleihern und dann hält nichts mehr.Außerdem fehlte die Schraube für das vordere Schutzblech. Gut das kann mal vorkommen, aber in Verbindung mit den anderen Gründen, ist dies ein deutlicher Retouniergrund.

Esteticamente sono brutti e la qualità della plastica è apparentemente bassa e poco rigida. Però sono lunghi coprono gran parte della gomma e quello posteriore lo posso inclinare come meglio preferisco. Per me che li ho presi non badando all' estetica vanno benissimo.
