1:50 and 1:100 Scale Landscape Design Stencil Architectural Planning Symbols Garden Plants Architect Drawing Template

As a landscaper and aspiring designer this stencil came in very handy. Plenty of usability in many aspects of design and flexible so it doesn't easily break.

This template has professional stencils and costs a lot more than cheaper alternatives.. The main advantage is that it is well made, of a good quality, flexible plastic, with conventional designs for plants and bushes. There are two scales 1:50 and 1:100 with a 90deg curve marked off in degrees, with two quadrants to draw from. Confusingly, the stencil objects are labelled in English or German, but it is not too difficult to interpret. To make best use of the sencils you will need to use a 0.35 pencil, with many of the stencil slots too small to fit a 0.5 technical pen, so it is not great for copying onto tracing paper or for pen drawings. All-in-all a good landscape garden drawing tool and well made. It is not definitive, so perhaps the addition of a cheaper one will give a combination of most objects that you will need.

Holes too small to get a pencil through which I wasn't aware of.

nice tool for landscape drawing, DVD are difficult to use. I found this tool. Perfect to create a landscape design at low cost. Good stencil.

I loved this product as I had to design a forest garden and it was great to get the scale of the planting right

This is a very expensive item but sadly is the only one I could find for landscape designers. It only has deciduous trees of various sizes and evergreen trees. There are no other design templates for bushes or plants. The most problematic is the fact that even with the finest point graphic pens they will not go through the very thin stencil outlines. They widen out with use and determination but this takes time and effort. At £24 I would have expected a better designed template from a German company.

Brilliant to use for garden design, a little pricey

Il possède un gabarit pour arbres à feuilles caduques, un à feuilles persistantes et un autre pour les conifères. Un gabarit pour les clôtures et un pour les haies. Elle est à échelle 1:50 et 1:100. Le gabarit est flexible mais solide. Son prix est assez élevé mais vu qu'il est le seul gabarit acceptable, on accepte son prix.

This is a really nice stencil. Like others, I was not in a hurry to spend the 40 bucks, it just seemed like too much. But, I spend a good portion of my time creating drawings so that I can sell landscape jobs. A great drawing goes a long way to make a good impression on your clients. This stencil is incredibly detailed, and the resulting drawings are much improved. Now, this is the first stencil I reach for. The plastic is nice and smooth, and noticeably heavier duty (if you'll excuse the grammatical inaccuracy of that phrase). If you are a designer of any kind, you will be very pleased with this product. Shipping does take a bit longer than Prime.

Parfait pour plan d'illustration

This plastic is hard, has a little bit of flexibility, but is obviously durable. However, be warned - it is cut with such precision you will need a VERY fine, VERY high pen to get into the grooves to actually use it. I used a mechanical pencil, then copied it, to give it a black finality rather than try to get a pen into these tiny spaces. Works great!
