If you buy these from The TOOL GUY they are the real deal, I can not give you the date code that is part of the serial number without opening the package and if I open the package and ship it to you opened you will think it's used or counterfeit lol

Can the charger for the 2.0 batteries work with the 2.5Amp batteries?

Yes. I have 3 of these batteries and regularly use them on the old charger

I can use for m12 the heated gear?

Heck yes! If it's an M12 battery, it fits all the M12 tools and heated gear! The HO batteries seem to last longer in the jacket and run cooler too. I don't know if it's just a mental thing but the med setting (which is where I run my jacket at) seems to be a little warmer with the HO batteries than with the CP or XC batteries. The high setting now almost seems too warm with an HO battery!

Has anyone bought one and opened it up to see if this listing is selling authentic batteries? these retail for $80 so i have major doubts.
