Yamaha RXV381 5.1 Channel AV Reciever, Black

Great device, very easy setup, sound great with my movies library with DTS and dollby, I really enjoyed with yamaha. as well I bought Yamaha speaker Ns-PA40 with this receiver and the both working well

Speaker connections are small clip type only front speakers have binding posts. possible choice of cables therefore limited . Pity nice amp.

Very good. Would be better if the Bluetooth signal was amplified and the Remote control could operate from better angles. (Please note the BT signal is normal, however I thought I would get an even bigger range with it being a big appliance).

Right channel failed after 7 months.

For the money this amp is superb for a home cinema set up.The manual for specific controls could be improved and made a lot clearer but eventually you find what is required.

So far the amp is excellent as you would expect. This is second Yamaha amp I have purchased. Needed the newer RXVx81 model that supports UHD. This is the base model and is perfect and all I need in terms of features. This works with Sky Q silver in 4K UHD (the reason for upgrading). Would recommend at this price.

Easy to set up and a good replacement for my 20 year old AV receiver.

Excellent, this has more features than the first AV amp I bought about 20 years ago for nearly 10 times the price!
